Nice old hotel with history. Brekfast very good. The rooms facing the jerban were very noisy and I do not recommend these rooms. important that you have room on the opposite side. Noe aircondition so you must have Windows open

Good highway location and easy to the airport. Really close. The airplanes fly overhead but not all the time, so you really can rest. Turkey Creek is hard to see from the highway but once you know where the entrance is, you have it made. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is a bit used but nothing to stop from enjoying an overnight. The breakfast was a good start to the day. Eggs were freshly made and not from a box, that I could tell. Did I say the staff was friendly?!

Hotel staff were excellent but we had to change our room after one night as it was too small for our liking. Having to clamber across the bed to get to the side up against the wall was very difficult and extremely frustrating if one had to get up in the night. The room not being cleaned was also very surprising

Wow! That’s the only thing I can think to say about just how bad my experience with this hotel was. My wife and I were traveling to southern Mississippi to attend my mother’s funeral nearby. We booked a single king room at this hotel, because it was close to the airport, and I had always associated the Fairfield name with nice quality hotels. I will not make that mistake again.
We came in late, but I had called the hotel to verify my late check in and was told everything was fine with that. When we arrived, and got to our room, there were 2 double beds instead of a king. Being late and knowing we had a lot to do the next day in preparation for the funeral, we didn’t say anything about the mistake. We started to plug in our cell phones charge them overnight and found that almost all the electrical outlets in the room were so worn, that nothing would stay plugged into them without bending the prongs on our charger. Again, we made the best of it, and found the 2 in the room., that would actually work.
The next morning, I got up to take a shower, and realized there were no bath towels in the room. I went to the desk to get some, and the clerk asked me if there had been towels when we got there. I am not sure what she thought we might have done with them when we arrived at 11:30 pm the night before, but I assured her that we had not seen them.
The breakfast in the lobby was something they called a “take away” sack breakfast because they still had not got back to serving their regular breakfast foods. It consisted of a small bottle of water, an orange, and an incredibly old, stale granola bar.
I also mentioned that the room we were in was not what we had reserved. The lady at the desk said she could try to change it, but there would be additional charges to move to a king room (which was what I had reserved in the first place). I showed her my reservation for a king room and the price listed in the reservation. She then said that the manager was the only person who could give me the room at that price. Since we would be out most of the day, she said to go ahead and take our things to make it easier when we got back, and they would make sure to get the correct room for us.
Sometime during my mother’s funeral that day they called but did not leave a message. I was having dinner with my family before heading back to the hotel when they called me back to let me know that they should not have let me make the reservation to begin with, and they no longer had a room for us. No apologies, and no explanation other than they should not have let me reserve it in the first place. No offer to help us find other accommodations.
Before I ever stay in another Fairfield, I will think about this hotel and look to see if there is any place else close by. If it happens to be in Gulfport, I can tell you where that will be…

……. just up the street, there is a Comfort Inn and Suites. When I got the call from Fairfield, I got on my phone to see if I could find a place to stay and found that one. It was a completely different experience. Just walking in the door, it was apparent everything was turning out much better. Very professional staff, hotel and room were much nicer, price was the same, and the desk clerk made sure to let us know that they did not have a hot breakfast, but that they would have coffee and juices, and a good selection of pastries, fruits, and cereals.

This have been the best experience I’ve ever received from a hotel and it’s staff. I’ve enjoyed my stay hands down and will return back next month with my entire family for a family reunion. The front desk associates( esp Jessica and Charity) are by the far the most knowledgeable when it comes to the Marriott brand as well as JoJo Thomas HR. I certainly appreciate Mrs. Boyd and her housekeeping staff. The housekeeping staff here made sure I was taken care of everyday no matter what. The GM Nash was super nice to me and my family each and everyday. For the people here to go out their way to make sure that my family and I was okay meant a lot to us. I recommend this hotel to anyone for business or pleasure. Carlos who is the HK manager went out his way each day to make sure I had everything I needed. Again I appreciate your staff Reno and good luck.

7/29/2022-7/31/2022 The pictures of this location are not the ones on the internet. The pool was dirty and not blue like pictures. The patio stank so bad we requested for them to change the trash because it was so awful. The elevator stopped working and we had to walk up to the third floor and I am 75 years old awful. The bathrooms are not the ones in the picture. Ours at Gulfport had been patched with calk and nasty around the toilet.
I was sitting in lobby watching news and staff turned tv off in my face and I went to front desk and told lady and ask them to turn back on. The guy who turned off tv said he was leaving for night and had to turn off. He also asked us not to put trash in the trash cans in lobby he already emptied them REALLY!!! The location is miss leading and down eight false advertising and a total waste of money. BEWARE!!

I wish I had read reviews before staying at this hotel. I made several complaints during the stay with my mother who is Lifetime Elite Marriott Rewards Member. But even her status did not warrant proper handling of the shortcomings. There was a lack of cleaning in the room which included a large droplet of what appeared to be blood on the comforter. Also, a very long piece of hair in the shower attached to the railing. During COVID-19, there should have been an emphasis on cleaning but here there is clearly a lack. We even complained to Marriott and were promised a return call by the manager. Never happened. Will not be returning. Even if the casino is sold out, we will find somewhere else. Elite Member or not.

We checked in at check-in time, 3 pm, and went to our room. We showered, turned the tv on, and the picture tube was cracked, the picture horrible and jumpy. After calling the front desk, a nice young man was told by someone he called, it was a weekend, to go try to jiggle the cables and see if anything was loose, he also said at 4pm there were no rooms to move to. I told him a room without a tv was unacceptable. He had no power, he was a minion for a unresponsible manager was didn't come, just delegated to this poor man what to do. Going to another marriott in town was also not given, after asking for it. Both my wife and I are bonvoy members, and we demand compensation from Marriott, not this hotel, for treating us so rudely. Marriott management knows the issues with this hotel, now treat us with some respect...JPWorner

We made a quick stop in Copenhagen on our way to Norway and I couldn’t be more please. The staff at the hotel was amazing, specially Lauren at the front counter. She gave us a great recommendation for dinner and was super sweet. The room was cozy and we even had a balcony with a table and chairs. The hotel is steps from train central station and Tívoli park. They have a pretty good variety for breakfast including options for vegetarians and in the front desk they have a board which tells you what time is busiest for breakfast. Overall, I can’t say anything bad about my experience and for the price it was pretty good.
