Hotel's Favourite
Overall 5/5 Value 5/5 Wifi 4/5
Pros: outstanding at the price. The room was clean, the water was piping hot, the refrigerator was cold, AC worked properly, everything was as it should be. Desk in room, desk chair was comfortable. Check-in lady was friendly. Location is good, easy to find, with plenty of parking.
Cons: wifi was a little slow in room 133, and the motel was less than half full. The clock radio showed a time that was not correct and could not be changed. Toilet handle had to be held down until the toilet finished flushing. Breakfast was a little sparse. The motel is under the landing pattern for the local airport, but the planes are small and not overly noisy.
The room was renovated within the last several years, as the furnishings look newish, but if you look closely there are a few scuff marks on the furniture and the walls, and the carpet is somewhat stained. This gives the room an aged appearance. It's not worth renovating again, but it gives the room the odd quality of feeling both new and old at the same time.
The AC unit had a sign on it that said it was controlled by a wall thermostat. The wall thermostat was dead. It took me a while to check the AC unit and discover that the controls on the unit worked and were how you adjusted the unit.

The hotel staff is extremely nice and helpful. We were in town to visit family . The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. When I asked if the room had been sanitized the housekeeper not only assured me the cleaning product they use kills COVID-19 , she also went in the room before us and sprayed disinfectant . We will definitely stay here again.

Great rate, clean, very comfortable room with great AC. Very friendly interactions with staff. Check in was smooth, but they did not accommodate our request for a ground floor room. We did check in late in the evening but had requested ground floor due to personal issues. There is a handicap ramp and good elevators made it easier, but we wished they had accommodated. They are also in the flyway for the local airport but the couple planes that flew over were daytime and not a problem.
The QI is not a palace but is close to plenty restaurants, a Walmart, the outlet stores and ten minutes from the beach.
As with most places you DO have to request housekeeping early in the a.m. or else they don’t come. However the employee we saw got us what we needed.
Clean comfortable and quiet !

I've only been to one other hotel as gross as this one, needless to say, we did not stay. I've never been SO stunned after reading such great reviews. This place is a no tell motel, if you gather my meaning. It's filthy and I do mean rats are probably running around this place kind of filth levels. It's extremely disgusting to anyone with any standards whatsoever, I guess it's exactly what I should've expected for Mississippi, I should've driven on to Louisiana. To start, the lobby doors were covered in a film of some sort of grime. The paths are covered in gum, garbage and cigarettes, people smoking everywhere, a woman that COULDN'T FIND her two small children that was staying there, and I haven't even gotten to the rooms. The first two sets of keys didn't work. We got into the first room, which was non-smoking that had clearly been smoked in for years. I have auto-immune issues, including chronic coughing and I walked in and got violently ill immediately from the stench. The second room had pubic hairs and long hairs all over the place, cigarette burns on the whirlpool, some substance in and on the faucet and tub, looked like pieces of ramen, stains on the carpets, it stank like old, dirty motel. There was a layer of sticky substance all over the table and a handprint with whatever it was on the window. We left immediately and went to the Holiday Inn next door, which is exceptionally clean and I highly recommend to anyone that has to stay here because they can't drive on to either Louisiana or Alabama. I wouldn't even stop in this town if I didn't 100% have to. I was so sick when I left this place from just the cigarettes and the smell of the rooms that I had to take my anti-nausea medication.

This location doesn’t deserve any stars, other than its location off the highway. We checked in and was given a room on the second floor. We were provided only one key and to our surprise when we got settled in to our room and realized we had no washcloths or towels. The sheets on the bed were extremely wrinkled. It actually looked as if someone had already been staying in our room. The carpet was dirty, the furniture was dusty and the bath tub stopper was broken. I called downstairs to inform the staff that we had no linen, however before I could state my concern was told to hold while she helped a customer. As if a customer calling from their hotel room isn’t a patron. I waited on hold for about 10 minutes. I hung up and called back to speak to a man who informed me that I would need to come get the linen because he couldn’t bring it to me. My husband went to retrieve the linen and was told they had no bath mats or washcloths, only towels. No hand towels either. I was shocked and appalled. We were only provided 3 bath towels. The lobby is very clean and gives the impression of cleanliness for the inn, however the rooms do not match the lobbies esthetics. This is a subpar establishment, either lower your expectations or be prepared to be disappointed.

I called and made a reservation for Friday Feb, 21 and was quoted $74 +tax including my dog. When I arrived at the hotel, they told me it would be $104 +$25 more for the dog. I tried other lodging but nearby hotels were booked and I'd been driving 10 hours. I expressed my opinion of their gouging. The clerks merely shrugged. I stayed because I had little option but I'll never stay at any of these properties again.

The only reason I didn't give it 0 stars, was because the staff was nice. I am not a picky person when reviewing, but I do not understand the 5 star ratings on here! First, we entered the room and it smelled mildewy. I sprayed it with air freshener and it was tolerable (for a while). No one commented on how many and how low-flying planes went over the hotel minutes apart! Thursday night the planes were as late as 1:00 a.m. The refrigerator made noise, there were rust spots in the tub, light bulbs missing from lamps, and the room was fairly clean, the A/C-heater made a lot of noise, and the worst thing was when we took our shoes off how the carpeting was damp (enough to make our socks wet). There is no fan in the bathroom, which may contribute to the dampness throughout the room. Because of Covid and mix-up with the front desk, we didn't get our room cleaned and the wet towels I placed in the tub for housekeeping were still there when we came back to our room at 8:00 p.m. The front desk apologized and I wouldn't blame them, but their cleaning procedures don't work well. I trusted the name "Quality Inn" for quality, but this did not deliver!!! Sorry, but I will not be returning!

Thought we would use this hotel as a one-night stopover to be close to the airport. Most of the trip advisor reviews weren't that bad. But.... we found it to be dirty, not in a particularly safe area. Breakfast was limited and what was available was stale and fruit was dried out. Kim the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle response was quick and friendly, however the vehicle itself needed some tlc.
Our non-smoking room had a must and old smoke smell.
Overall very unpleasant stay and would not recommend.

Very reasonably priced. Plenty of newspapers upon arrival. Was recognized as a Choice member. Clean room with two double beds and 4 pillows for each bed. Extra towels for those that like two for hair and body. Doors were on the outside, but ice machine next to elevator/stairs. Two water bottles inside refrigerator/freezer. Proved coffee and my favorite tea I Love Lemon!! Was able to relax, have tea, and read a newspaper. Breakfast went until 10 and provided a wide variety. Hard boiled eggs, waffles, ham, sausage, egg omelets, biscuits and gravy, cereals, juice, and variety of breads. Breakfast area was very clean even after a bus load of teenagers. Very friendly desk clerk when checking out. Definitely will stay here again.

Filthy pigsty, stay away, overpriced hole of the worst order, should have slept in the car.
The staff was surly and unhelpful and when I requested a different room due to the filthy carpet, walls, bathroom, stairways and common areas I was told they were none available.
Never ever stay here. The area was supposed to be safe, hah! As safe as a pit of vipers.
Booked this place on reviews, who did they pay to give them good reviews?

Sorry, We are not located on the beach.
You will receive 150$ back upon checkout. At check-in you pay for your entire stay plus an additional 150$. When you are ready to checkout housekeeping will inspect the room to make sure nothing is missing or damages then we give it right back to you.
From this hotel in Gulfport it would be about a 15 minute drive to the beach. It is in a busy business district, very near many shopping and dining venues....not necessarily near to beach.
It is 18 to 21. Call the motel to know for sure.
Yes they do!
