Oasis Resort is frequently lauded for its cleanliness, with guests noting spotless rooms and tidy common areas. The atmosphere is deemed comfortable, particularly for families enjoying the beachside locale and amenities like the praised water park. While the rooms receive mixed reviews regarding size and amenities, the service is consistently celebrated for its attentiveness. Despite concerns about additional costs and the value of food and drinks, the prime beachfront location near attractions and the minimal traffic is highly appreciated by many visitors.

We have never stayed here before. Beautiful property. Check-in was quick and the front desk staff member was super nice.

The hotel has a pool area with swim-up bar which you can also order lunch from. Great kids splash area with slides and such. Also two larger slides and a lazy river. Alot of fun for kids and adults.

I booked a kids suite. Super large with a king and separate bunk area for the kids. Only negative is the A/C. This is Mississippi in summer and it is HOT. The AC didnt seem to work. The maintenance said the room was down for maintenance and shouldnt had been booked. It was hotter than outside. It took well into the morning for the room to cool to a comfortable temp. They were no other rooms, but they were accommodating with multiple fans right away.

Overall, we had a wondeful time and enjoyed ourselves. All staff we encountered from the front desk, pool, maintenance and restaurant were all very nice.

This particular establishment at the Oasis’s Resort is always consistent with everything including: friendliness, cleanliness, good food, great customer service, with good comfortable sleeping beds. The pools and surroundings are always so clean with great life guards on standby. They’re like a 2 for 1 stay and water-play accommodation, overlooking the beautiful beaches at the Gulf of MS! The bar area in the pool is wonderful with surrounding seating that connects to the lazy river, and let’s not forget to mention the really great bartenders, either! The Management here are doing an excellent job because I’ve brought my family here three times in one year and it’s always top tier!

Thank you so much for your feedback! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed such an exceptional stay at Centennial Plaza! To clarify, we do not have lifeguards on duty at our water playground. The team members at the water playground are pool attendants, all guests swim at their own risk. We apologize for any confusion. We hope that you will be able to join us again soon for more relaxation and fun! Sincerely, Hannah - Centennial Plaza Team

We stayed at this resort that has two different hotels onsite which are Oasis and Grand Centennial.
Our first stay was at Grand Centennial which was very nice. It was newly opened when we went and we got to enjoy the pool area all by ourselves.
This trip we choose Oasis due to it’s located closer to the pool area. It did not disappoint either! We did find the rooms smaller but nice as well.
The pool area is definitely a must! We had 4 kids with us and they had a blast. We felt very safe and comfortable with just letting them go about on their own ways while we enjoyed the adult pool. The bar servers are very nice and helpful about different drinks they offer.
There is an upscale restaurant and a more modern grill place located on the grounds. We choose just the more casual place and only did take out. The food is very good but their wait time can be a bit long so order early!
We highly recommend this place if you are visiting Gulfport area. All of the employees we came in contact with was very friendly and willing to help in any way they could!
We will definitely be returning before Summer is over!

We stayed at the Oasis hotel. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The hotel is immaculate; very clean, bright and well kept. The pool area is also very nice and clean, and I would highly recommend it as a fun getaway for a family with young children. My girls had a blast.
The BIG negative experience we had with a pool bartender:
We had just arrived to the resort around 12 and were having a great time at the pool when we wanted to order lunch. I left my husband and 5 year old to play on the slide and took my 2 year old with me to order. I asked one of the lifeguards where you could order lunch. She told me the pool bar. So I got in the water and walked up to the pool bar holding my 2 year old. When we got to the bar, I set her down on the stool beside me. The bartender quickly approached and said very rudely “you cannot have a child at the bar.” I replied “I just want to order lunch, no alcohol, and this is where I was told to go.” She, again, rudely replied “well, you can’t order here with a child” and walked off. So, I got out of the pool, told my husband what happened and that I was going to find a manager, not even to complain about how rudely I was treated by that particular bartender, but to complain about what a horrible policy it is to only be able to order at the bar but not have your child. I am obviously not going to leave my 2 year old unattended because of a ridiculous policy. And it is a family resort where 99% of the people there have children.
While I was standing in the lobby waiting on the manager, I watched as my husband walked up to the same pool bar with both of my children; my 5 year old sat on the stool beside him, and he ordered alcohol and lunch with no problem. That was pretty much the icing on the cake.
Nichola, the supervisor in the lobby, had Michael, the food service manager, meet me at the pool bar. I explained the entire situation to him, at which time he pointed to another entrance where I could have ordered food or gave me the option of going into the restaurant to order. I told him the bartender did not tell me of either of those options; she just told me “no service” and walked off. I also told him of what I just witnessed with my husband being served no problem with the exact same scenario. He was very nice and apologetic and got our food and 2 drinks for us very promptly. I do appreciate his kindness, but real customer service would have been to, at the very least, give us those 2 drinks on the house.
On a good note, Nichola In the lobby, is fabulous. She went above and beyond to help get us the best room possible; much nicer than the room we originally reserved online. The pool bartender, however, ruined the experience for me.

Also, it is August and obviously extremely hot. I am all about conserving energy, but it seems if you know a room is being rented, the establishment could leave the air on at least a mild temperature in the room. We didn’t get into our room until around 5 and our air was completely off and took the entire night to get cooled down.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience for every guest every time, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the better than the best experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. We arrived several hours before check in and we were able to access the pool and water park after we were given wrist bands. At 2:00, front desk called to let us know our room was ready. Upon entering the room, we noticed the shower (there’s no tub) didn’t have a shower curtain. We called and asked for one. An hour later, still no shower curtain and in the meantime, we opened the window curtain and the handle was previously broken and was attached somehow with a zip tie!! So of course, the curtain handle came off. I called front desk several times (at least 4 or 5 times) to ask about shower curtain and to inform them about the window curtain handle and no one answered. Rain slacked and pool reopened so kids wanted to go back to the pool. I went to lock my wallet in the safe and it was never reset so I couldn’t open it. I went to the front desk to let them know once again about the THREE issues we’ve had so far. We stayed at the pool for an hour or so, came back to our room and still no shower curtain. The safe was fixed though. Window Curtain still hanging so this is a picture of what I had to do to keep it shut. House keeping came bring a shower curtain. Didn’t even bother to put it up for us. At least those hangers with clips came in handy!!!

We live in Gulfport and my wife had been wanting to try the Oasis Grill for breakfast, so one Saturday morning we went. First, it took forever to be seated even though there were empty 2-tops available. The manager/host/server took our drink order but when served my wife's coffee was missing. When he was reminded it came fairly quickly. I enjoyed the coffee very much - the best I'd had in a long time. My wife doesn't like it as strong as I do so it wasn't for her.
For the meal she ordered "The Usual", two eggs (over medium), bacon, toast and potatoes. I had buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. The white on her eggs was so runny she couldn't eat them. Her potatoes somehow turned into grits?? Her toast was one piece sliced in two. My pancakes were fairly tasteless and the maple syrup wasn't maple at all but obviously some high fructose (cheap) substitute! I was never offered a refill of the wonderful coffee. Lastly, the prices were not cheap - Waffle House is a much better choice!
We considered this a learning experience and now know to never go here again.

They checked us and another family into dirty rooms after they had staff quit. Their system of assigning rooms seemed completely outdated and inaccurate and SLOW. Though they gave us a discount off our stay for the dirty room and long wait, that did not compensate for a SMELLY hotel and hotel room, tiny, awkward bathroom, lack of security (anyone could enter the building at anytime without even a staff member monitoring the entrance, keycard entrance was deactivated), understaffing and basic offerings like coffee or a map of the hotel. Our room was missing a remote, the tub was clogged, the pool wasn’t heated or clean, and the front desk often did not answer when I called. I had to call multiple times. We could hear every single time a neighboring room opened/ closed their door. No bathrooms were available in their “check in” building and you have to exit the pool area completely in order to access a bathroom - which is NOT ideal for children. We usually stay at the HYATT which is supposedly a one star hotel but feels like a 5 star hotel compared to this place. I would NOT classify this as a resort in any sense of the word. It was on the cheaper side but I would rather have a tiny, clean pool at the Hyatt that my kid spent hours enjoying in February than this hospital stay. They should have knocked down some walls or at least updated the filtration system. The whole place smelled like old cafeteria/ hospital. I can only imagine with chaos of trying to stay there during peak season.

Tried calling over ten times with no answer. When we got there to check in I called to see if anyone would answer, they didn’t. I walked in and three employees were standing there talking, nobody else in there. I mentioned I called multiples times and received no response. Pool was “temporarily closed” and no estimated time provided. It was the first time in days the sun was out so we were excited only to be let down before even signing the check in papers. Finally made it to the room through a maze of halls and turns in building 8. The smell hits you as soon as you walk in the building, like old play-do mixed with something. Went to an early dinner to kill some time to see if the pool would open, called multiple times again from my cell and the phone in the room to no answer. This place is by no means worth spending hundreds of dollars at to not be able to take advantage of the pool or even get an “I’m sorry” when 10+ phone calls go unanswered. Also, it was so great for my daughter to watch the employees going down the slides in the pool that was “closed” and playing around.

Booked a kids suite to have more space and a pool view. The night before we left, I got a call from the hotel telling us that our room was not available and they moved us to a room with 2 queen beds at a $50 discount.
I was upset about this because we chose the kids suite to have separate privacy area from us and our toddler. She said there was an air issue, and I let her know that this was not acceptable for a $50 discount. We leave tomorrow. Then said call back in the morning and talk to a manager, but called back 30 minutes later and said another guest took the deal of the $50 to move. The room was not cold. They sent someone to look at the air at 7:30pm. He turned it down to 65 and said it would cool off. The room did cool but, the air did not shut off and it was not 65°
There was mildew on the shower curtain, a shirt left by a guest under the chair, candy on the chair, and the door was filthy. We called the front desk, no answer. Most of the tubes were deflated for the lazy river. It took 30 min for a beer at the bar and the workers were slow. ONLY 6 umbrellas in the entire park (that held over 200 people) We waited in line before the it opened for 15 min for an umbrella and did not get one. We paid $375 a night with taxes and fees. For the amount of $ you pay, we definitely will not be back.
I am in the hotel industry myself, but COVID is not an excuse for this subpar resort. We were in room 8230. Felt dirty and 0 customer service, which is huge in hospitality. SEE PICS

This is our second stay at this property. My husband and I have two kids, ages 4 and 6. The water playground/splash pad area is perfect for them. We were able to get adjoining rooms (2 queen beds in their room, 1 king bed in our room). The kids having their own space was super helpful as we were able to get them into bed in their room and have an hour or so to unwind ourselves. Oasis Grill was delicious and service was wonderful. All workers masked and taking covid precautions seriously. The cleaning staff and management were all very friendly and helpful. Kids also enjoyed the musical fountain in the evening. The water playground area was clean and lots of fun. We ordered drinks and had dinner with the kids poolside on two evenings. Parking is ample, and the property feels very safe. The beach is right across the street; probably walkable from hotel, but we ended up driving just for convenience. Would recommend this to any family with children. The Centennial Hotel is probably lovely for couples as well, as it's on the same property.
