Nice hotel a little bit back off the busy strip. Had trouble with my credit card on checkin which delayed me (my fault). Room was nice, and I slept well in the bed. Internet is very slow (but I may have been getting Microsoft updates), and TV is Satellite so it’s hard to find anything (except hundreds of shopping channels). Large bathroom with large counter which was very nice. Two working elevators, while slow, they worked fine. The refrigerator worked great, in fact it pretty much froze anything I put into it, no matter what the setting. Free Breakfast was very nice in a large area with lots of variety, and plenty of parking. Every restaurant known to man is within a mile, but traffic was very heavy. Large, clean parking lot.

Here this weekend for vacation and was one of the reasonably priced hotels; considering the holiday. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. Check in was a breeze. The rooms……the rooms smell like a teenage male locker room mixed with mildew. Requested a room change and the staff was more than accommodating. Next room was slightly better, but still nowhere near acceptable. Lights also flicker. Please remove the nasty carpet and change the a/c filter. If it were feasible, I definitely would’ve left. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

I ended up here after a problem with my first choice hotel. The staff were friendly even if they were unprofessional. The person behind the front desk was happy to accommodate my request for a quiet room. Unfortunately a lot of things in the building were out of order including the front elevator and the indoor pool. But the clerk made sure I knew about these things before i checked in which I appreciated.

We stayed here a year ago and liked it, but the hotel is not the same and we would not return. We spent one night a few weeks ago during the pandemic. Our sheets had dried blood on them. The hotel staff were not wearing masks when we entered but were behind a plexiglass shield. A manager later handed out masks but the woman helping us did not wear it. No gloves were used to take the credit card & ID or other items used in checkin. Many hotels now let a room rest 24 hours between bookings but they do not have that practice; however, when I requested it, they did take some time to check and ensure it was. Although there was a sign that masks must be worn, the majority of hotel guests did not wear them and the hotel did not enforce it. We saw the front-desk staff vacuum the entry carpet often, but never saw anyone sanitizing the elevator, luggage carts or other common areas. We understand that many breakfasts are limited during the pandemic, but the only item offered were pre-packaged pastries under a plastic container that had to be lifted by many hands.

Cleanliness issues and poor staff knowledge reflected poorly on this Comfort Suites location Upon arriving at room we found a clear 30 gal bag of trash next to our door When we opened the door, then closed it, we found dirty towels behind the door The room furnishings were dated It appeared the sofa had been stuck in the room so it could be called a suite Next morning I needed to print a document Followed the instructions found at the desk in the room Submitted document received print code went to business center to print Would not print Went back upstairs Resubmitted got new number back down to business center Same results Front desk clerk accompanied me to business center He says the printer ink cartridge is low Told me to send the document to the hotel email, front desk would print for me. Desk clerk gave me the email. Went back upstairs, emailed document. Went back down to the front desk, the desk clerk told me he didn't know how to access the hotel's email. He had called his boss and she had told him to tell me to email it but I would have to wait til she came in to get the printout. By this time, I needed to leave. I went back upstairs, got my things to leave for my meeting. On the way down I ask if the person that could print the document had come in. She had not AND the desk clerk told me he had given me the wrong email! I know this is a long account, but it lets you know just how poorly trained this desk clerk was.

Cockroaches in the room. More than one. My son took the first one down in a cup to the front desk and the representative told him "kill it". So he did. About 1am.. more cockroaches on the walls. We went downstairs and explained, got another room... smaller room with less bed space, therefore had to sleep in a kingsized bed with teenagers. No compensation, no refund. Ridiculous, unacceptable... I should get a refund on this room!!!

Hadn't planned on having to stay in a hotel. Our weekly rental at the beach had a glitch, so we had to rent a hotel for the evening. Greeted by friendly staff. Room appeared to be clean - however I brought personal cleaning/sanitizing products that I used. Due to COVID only coffee, juice and sweet rolls served for breakfast. Which is understandable. Bed was very comfortable. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Check in was slow, but the overall appearance was clean in the lobby. The room smelled bad as soon as I opened the door. I don't think the A/C was working properly. The TV is aged, and there is caulk holding parts together in the bathroom. This is a "low cost value" hotel so not going to complain too much.

Wife and I spent Christmas at Gulfport, MS. We're 70+ years. We have family in Gulfport. Comfort Suites was booked for us by family. What a pleasant surprise. Front desk very friendly. Suites are spotless clean. The beds are so comfortable. We slept very well. I enjoy breakfast. They have a full breakfast at 7AM on Christmas day and 6AM day after. They don't have a tip jar. When you do hand cash to breakfast staff as a tip they really go out of their way. There was nothing wrong with anything. And I'm picky. Check my reviews. Told my wife on departure we could live in the suite. She agreed.

We attended the Gasses SE Association drag races and the Cruising the Coast. (Birthday trip to my significant other). Room was so clean and so very quiet.. We both slept really well. Breakfast was delicious. Hot scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage , waffles, juice either on or apple. Yogurt, cold cereal if you chose. Of course coffee and tea.
If we needed more packages of coffee for our room all we had to do was go to desk and ask. Kept us supplied. Plenty of plug ins if needed. Which was a godsend, as we both had our phones and I had my tablet.. Had to take lots of photos.. Close to I10 and walmart. Plus restaurants Would recommend highly. They have an awesome friendly staff One photo shows the hotel in background (Blue) Old pickup a restaurant in background, you could actually walk to.. There were other restaurants within walking distance.
