My family and I rented Legacy Towers I, rooms 704 and 804, through Biloxi Beach Resort Rentals. The condos were as described online, in a great location across the street from the beach. I do think that the furnishings were a bit lackluster, hence the 4-star rating. I understand not providing paper towels, toilet paper, etc. in abundance, but one roll for a condo designed for 8 people is pretty ridiculous. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms, and the sheets and towels are scratchy and very low quality (I would recommend bringing your own sheets if you are staying for a while). But overall, the experience was great, the company was helpful and responsive, the condo was lovely and in a great location, and we enjoyed ourselves and Biloxi Beach.

Also be advised: While this is beachfront, you do have to run across two busy roads to get easy access to the beach. I saw a lot of families scrambling with young children and tons of beach stuff to cross the street. Not a deal breaker but not ideal. The pool, however, is lovely.

"Warning".... The reason for the this review, is to inform any potential travelers to the Legacy Towers in Gulfport, MS., to be aware of a damage charge a week following their checkout.
My wife and I stayed at Legacy Tower 1, Rm # 303, while visiting our son who is stationed at Keesler Air Force Base. The condo was very clean, decorated appropriately to the modern time and had all the amenities needed for our stay.
When we exited the condo, we made sure everything was in it's original place, nothing had been damaged, dishes were washed, beds made, floors cleaned, trash taken out, etc., just as things were when we entered the condo.
I week following our stay, I received an e-mail charging our credit card an additional $50.00. Puzzled by this, I opened up the Rental Policies and Procedures to explore where these charges could have stemmed from. One, a cancellation fee, didn't cancel. Another, the remote control's had to be in the exact place as they were when we arrived, made sure we did that. Another, the furniture had to be in its original position, made sure we did this too. Nothing else had a $50.00 fee attached.
After several attempts of calling three different numbers listed on my conformation form, I finally got through to someone. What I was told initially, was that most of the time this charge is for a stain on the comforter, as it has to be washed. I told the lady, I could assure anyone, even the pope, there was no stain on the comforter. She asked to put me on hold so she could look into this. Fifteen minutes later, she tells me the charge is for pink fingernail polish on the floor tiles in the kitchen and a broken piece of furniture. I tried to explain to her that my wife doesn't wear finger nail polish, let alone did she have any with her. I also wanted to know which piece of furniture had allegedly been broken,
but she couldn't tell me.
You would think after being charged a $95.00 cleaning fee, $35.00 damage waiver and $15.00 Legacy Towers Resort Fee, you wouldn't have to worry about another $50.00 fee a week after checkout, especially for something you know for certain didn't happen.
A valuable piece of information to any future travelers to the Legacy Towers. Have someone come with you to the condo at check in and document in writing, exactly what things look like and do the same at check out. Not having this, allows them to cheat at your expense.
I can sleep at night, but hope the individual assigned to do this dirty deed for this company, tosses and turns.

Our 3 families planned a last minute summer vacation and the moms came together Saturday prior to our arrival date and located a condo. We liked that they had 2 - 3bd/3bth available in our price range. We received an email with pictures and choose the condo with 1king/2qu/2tw/1sleeper because of all the teenagers we had traveling with us, I confirmed that we wanted to rent the condo with specific beds types. We received the contract and it was for the other condo which had 2kings/2full/1sleeper, we tried to contact Legacy before our arrival and no one returned emails or phone calls. When we arrived at Legacy Tower we were given the keys to our condo and when we told them we booked the condo with more beds they said it had already been rented. "Bait & Switch" Frustrated we settled into our condo and wrote down everything that was wrong in fear of being charged for something we didn't break. We asked for an air mattress and one was given at no charge. Management also apologized and said they were obligated to provide sleeping for 10 and that's what they had provided. The pool area, workout facility and distance to the beach were great. This was a wonderful vacation with the exception of being given the wrong condo. I would stay down the street before dealing with the management team again.

We are thoroughly enjoying our fantastic Vacation Rental at the Legacy II complex. Our Unit is 1003, it is a well maintained, clean, very modern, well run, with a fantastic 10th. floor balcony view of the Gulf. Cable TV with Hidef TV's. Spacious master bath, WiFi works well. We are very comfortable and pleased.

The condo it self was amazing! But it's better to stay at a place where there are no permanent residents. You will find the some of the permanent residents make it hard to enjoy the pool area. Most everyone is use to going on vacation where the pool is a place for families and friends to enjoy, chill and listen to some music that is at a resonable volume and some drinks by the pool Here..... the permanent residents come up to you and impolitely tell you what you can and can't do and run to the security guards to have them come over and tell you the same thing. No music, no drinks, not even water near the pool. I get it cus they live here, but if the residents are going to have such issues with the guest, then there needs to be separate areas for guest and residents. I've come for vacation, not to be worried about getting in trouble for something that is done at normal vacation spots .

Do not stay at the condos rented by this company. We rented a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo at Legacy Towers. I paid a $105.00 cleaning fee upfront along with the amount for the condo. The place was not clean. The carpets were horribly dirty and so was the upholstery on the furniture in the living room. The guest bathroom had to be cleaned before we could give the kids a bath. Had to make an extra trip to the store for cleaning supplies. Upon checking in at the office my husband told the person at the front desk but she didn t seem to care. I called the lady who took my reservation and she said she would look into it but I never heard from her, guess she didn t care either. Very disappointed to go to a place that was so below our standards.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo. The condo itself was very nice and spacious. The decorating left something to be desired. The customer service was horrible. Our room had an air conditioner that was not working for 3 days. The air conditioner was serviced on the third day. Also, our keys did not work in the door. The locksmith did not arrive until the fourth day. I spent most of our vacation sitting in our condo waiting on workers. Not a pleasant experience. Also, the security guard was rude to my 3 year old because his armband had fallen off. He is three and the armband was made for an adult. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

On our last night of vacation we went to get in our car only to find a very nasty hateful note (pictured below), all due to we where in their spot. Please note we were not informed at any point that we weren’t allowed on the bottom floor of the parking garage. We actually weren’t told anything when it came to the parking garage. We had to park in the garage, because there are only a select few parking spots outside that guest can park in. Most have “Owner’s only” painted on the spot. This was a large inconvince especially when it came to brining in groceries. The security guards act as if they work for the FBI. I was rudely asked to follow the security guard all the way to her post just so I could throw my unopened drink away... ANOTHER THING the system is so complicated for no reason. You have to enter a passcode for EVERY single door and the system didn’t even work for HALF of our trip. We would have to walk all the way around the condominium to gain access to the beach. The last complainet is that we were ASKED TO LEAVE, so that they could show our condo to a potential buyer. Our vacation alone was a blast, but the people who live and work at the condo made it nearly impossible.

We spent a month here and enjoyed every day of our time. To begin with, every condo is privately owned and most are handled through a booking company such as Biloxi Beach Rentals. Some owners maintain their condos better than others. One way to insure you get the condo you want is to book through a site such as VRBO.com or homeaway.com. Amenities such as WiFi depend upon the individual owner.

Looking over some of the other previous comments, I always found the common areas to be immaculate. We saw the staff cleaning the pools every morning and keeping the chairs lined up neatly. There are barbecue grills available (charcoal not gas) and many families choose to cook out pool side.

There is some noise from the street but all condos and hotels are on the land side of Route 90. Being a few miles from the casinos, you are close enough while avoiding the heavy traffic and noise associated with those areas.

Families tend to book these condos so expect a lot of children at the pools in the summer. Once during our stay, there was a loud party group which detracted from our enjoyment. However, security quickly shut them down and things returned to normal. If you are looking to be loud, this is NOT the place for you.

There is a Wal-Mart close by, several restaurants, shopping mall and the local bus stops right in front. The beach is beautiful and the county cleans it about once a week. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

We have been here less than 24 hours and have had a $25,000.00 dollar loss! My husbands Harley Davidson Ultra Classic was parked in the covered, lighted parking garage here with all the latest state of the art security systems on it and working properly was stolen last night! The rental agency that booked our vacation says to talk to the HOA and the HOA that told us it was ok to park in their garage says to talk to the Rental agency!!! No body wants to take any responsibility for it and of course no one saw anything!!! This place is supposed to have a guard and security cameras!!! What they dont tell you is the guard goes home at 11pm and there is one camera that watches the front door and none that watch the only way in and out!!! This is perhaps the most costly mistake we have ever made! I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Is the beach good for family swimming?
Answer from Richard S

I would say yes. We are not swimmers ourselves; we're snowbirds that were there in February. However, the beach is very nice. The sand is wide, soft and very well maintained/clean. There is no surf at all and the water is shallow. We saw some young people wading way, way out; maybe 100 yards and were only chest deep.

We stayed in a three bedroom plus small bedroom with bunk beds condo. The main bedroom has a large ensuite, including shower and bath and toilet. There is a second bathroom for all other guests. Hope this answers your question.
