From the moment we stepping into the lobby until we left, a few days later, to return home, the staff made us feel like long lost friends. When we wanted to go somewhere, they gave us perfect directions and suggestions. Everything about our experience made us smile and we're still smiling as we remember our time there. The next time...

We spent one night at The Alluvian Hotel in Greenwood. Never again. The Hotel itself was clean and well cared for BUT the food was appalling. We booked a meal in the main Restaurant for the evening we arrived. I ordered half a chicken with a green salad. My husband had steak. I had eaten a couple of mouthfuls and...

This was a gorgeous hotel & the rooms were exquisite. The bed is plush & comfy. Hot breakfast buffet was included, & had great selection. Aside from the Viking cooking school and store across the street not much was going on in Greenwood during our weekend stay. We were surprised to find many stores were closed on Friday afternoon &...

First let me say that the good at the hotel restaurant was great. Service not so great. The Viking store and school were fun. We did the Vegas steakhouse class, it was fun but not really a class. Everything was premeasured and there was really little to do other than put stuff in oven. As for the Alluvian not impressed....

Thanks for the great dinner and evening. It's not often in the Mississippi Delta you come to such a little jewel. Mr. Mac the bellhop is a awesome guy! Make sure you go across the street to the Viking store.

Enjoyed this a great deal, came from the Shack Up Inn in Clarksdale so it was a welcome change and the other end of the tourist experience. Sophisticated but not pretentious. Food was as good as expected. We skipped the food prep classes across the street. While our friends did two of them. They liked them, we would not have...so...

The Alluvian is a very pleasant surprise in the Delta. By far, the nicest hotel for 100s of miles. The rooms, restaurant, bar-everything is great. The spa & cooking school are across the street. Weekend packages available. There's also a great bookstore/art gallery on the same block-Turnrow. A must if you are visiting the area.

Spent the weekend with four girlfriends here and cannot say enough great things about this place. The hotel is exceptional, beautiful, and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a great time! Across the street was the Viking cooking school, which was also so much fun, educational, not to mention delicious. The spa was just wonderful, massages,...
