French Camp B&B is not only an interesting place from a historical stand point but is a great place to stay and explore. Everyone in the community is so friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere makes you want to consider staying permanently there.

Our room was rustic with a bit of a log feel and nice views to the woods. We dined at the French Academy cafe for dinner and were served by the students. It is nice to know that our stay and meals help support the cause of the French Academy to provide a stable foundation for young people. :)

We stayed in the Memphis guesthouse at Camp of the Rising Son. Our room was quiet, simple and clean. Had I figured things out I probably would have stayed at the Bed and Breakfast in the historic district. The 2 sites are a couple miles apart. But I was satisfied with our room. One advantage of being at the Camp...

We were biking on the Natchez Trace and spent the night in B and B Jr cabin. The cabin was comfortable, the showers hot and the environment peaceful and friendly. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast before setting out in the morning.

While driving most (390 miles) of the Natchez Trace from Tennessee to Mississippi, my brother & I spent two nights in one of the rustic cabins of this delightful B&B. The lovely setting (right off the Trace) & lovely people looking after us made our stay memorable. The B&B Jr cabin was much larger than expected - downstairs dining area...

We stayed in the main lodge, Sally's room, which we considered the best room in the main building because of the extensive windows and view, and the privacy of the second floor. The sitting room on second floor is large, comfortable and attractive. Access to microwave, mini-frig and Keurig beverages 24 hrs in the dining room was appreciated. Everything was...

What an amazing place this is. Lovely log cabins on rolling grass. Ours was the Coach House, which was so pretty and comfortable. In the afternoon we came back, turned on the gas and read our books. Breakfast was a highlight, very good. We had supper in the cafe which was plain but very good and all we need. French...

I really enjoyed staying in this log cabin and checking out the other buildings, it was like stepping back in time. The room was very clean and comfortable and we awoke to a very good (and plentiful) breakfast the next morning. This was very convenient as we were doing the Natchez Trace trail from one end to the other.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
French Camp Academy’s Bed and Breakfast is one of the few B & Bs located adjacent to the Natchez Trace Parkway. In 1986, French Camp Academy moved two clerestory log cabins built between 1840 and 1870 from Eupora, Mississippi, to French Camp. They were placed side by side and joined together with an addition matching the period architecture. Some of the original pine logs are 18 inches in diameter. The inn officially began receiving visitors in March 1987. ... more   less
