I stayed there just one night during my honeymoon, but this place was great, nice, accurate, comfortable - feeling just like home. The house is really fantastic and the room too - I loved the style. We booked through their web-site, stayed in touch with Billy "the housekeeper" - unfortuntately we never met with Billy, but he arranged everything perfectly...

Rooms at Clark House were booked for an associate and myself when we were guests of the Clarksdale Film Festival in late January of 2016. The house itself is grand and historic, yet also comfortable and quiet. The rooms are lovely and fully equipped with all desired amenities. Parking is available just outside the building. The so-called continental breakfast offers...

We visited Clark House on a circular blues trail and it was certainly one of the highlights. We were lucky (2 couples) to have the place to ourselves for the night. Fantastic property and great bedrooms. The Inn Keeper, Billy was a great host: entertaining and informative. It was ideally suited to walk through fine residential areas to some great...

We had a wonderful time in clarksdale and a "must do" when in that part of the country. Great people and fantastic music. Our visit was made perfect with the stay at Clark House and hospitality; somewhere different. It was comfortable and spacious. The house very warm considering it was winter time. We just loved it there. Almost don't want...

I loved my stay at the Clark House! It is an incredibly beautiful and wonderful old home that has been lovingly restored. All the important things that need to be modern are (flat screen tv, very comfortable bed and beddings, shower and tub, kitchen) and all the things that are wonderfully older and need to be are (the beautiful furniture...

We only had one night here, but it is as advertised. Billy was available by phone at all times, and if we ever came back to Clarksdale we would definitely stay here. It's really a large beautiful guest house. We stayed in the main house at a quiet time of year. We walked in to Ground Zero for a meal...

This place is more than a bit special. My wife and I couldn't have been more content. A million miles away from the usual hotels: homely, comforting and absolutely beautiful. Almost like your perfect dream of Mississippi. The hospitality of Poor Billy was absolutely world class also. A true international gentleman and subtle genius.

A friendly warm welcome from "Poor Billy" relaxed us immediately. We felt this place was just like our own home. Very few rules and lots of facilities. The historic house is very spacious with enormous reception rooms all displaying an eclectic mix of artwork and also containing a wide range of interesting books on Blues and other topics. Clara the...

I booked a reservation in the Clark House for my business trip on the recommendation of a coworker. I stayed in the Crossroads room, downstairs in the main house. It was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the experience of staying in an older large home but with the lovely updates of a great hot shower and central heating/cooling. The next...

Amazing find to have a huge mansion at your disposal. OK so you only have a bedroom in it but it may as well be all yours as you can use the front porch and all the sitting rooms and help yourself in the kitchen. Billy is a great character and very helpful. The breakfast was one of the nicest...
