Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the IP Casino resort shortly after they reopened from being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We had no idea what we were heading into but took the chance. This is not the first time we have stayed at the IP Casino Resort. Compared to last year when we stayed we noticed the following differences, which in all honesty is exactly what we figured it would be and probably will be for a while
Elevators have floor markings (15 in each corner) and are limited to 4 people. We found most people respecfed it and ended up just waited for the next elevator since it wasn't busy.
Hand sanitizing stations everywhere.
Check in was still done at the counter vs digital/contactless. Again not busy so never any waiting. Rooms very clean and you can tell the carpets were all steam cleaned. The rooms were very clean last time so not much difference that I noticed. I was super impressed to see they now use the refillable shampoo/conditioner/body wash vs small plastic bottles. I wish all the hotels had those.
Casino floor was different. You needed to agree to some COVID19 health rules each time you went in and wear a mask (they had them for you if you needed one). Every 2nd/3rd slot machine was turned off and same as at the tables (closed). Signs on each saying which was open or closed. The floors were busier than I thought they would be but still not bad.
People seemed to be respectful of the social distancing guidelines and wore masks. Getting drinks was slow but they only had a handful of staff working so was understandable. We did have a good 30+ minute wait when our machine had a glitch and I had to go find someone (playing in The Cove) but she explained that they are upgrading slot machine systems and they have yet to work out the bugs. Not a big deal.
The pool wasn't opened when we were there but it is now from what I gather. The only places that were open to eat were the restaurant and the small coffee bar. The buffet, sports bar, bar were all closed.
We had a great time regardless and good stay.

Spotless facility and very attentive staff, can’t wait to return!! My massage therapist, Jason, did a great job. Patricia greeted me with a beverage offering and made sure I had the perfect fit with my robe and slippers. Towels and toiletries were meticulously replenished. As I said before, can’t wait to return!

We have stayed here numerous times. They have the best offers when it comes to discounts, free rooms, free shows and free food. We’ve always done pretty well with the slots also. The rooms are nice and they have some pretty good restaurants. This is the place to go if you want great offers!

By far one of the worst hotels ever. It started @ check-in. The clerk was so confused, he had to call for help. I requested (and confirmed prior to arriving) my room to be near the elevator and have a recliner or chair w/ottoman, due to back & leg problems. Nowhere near the elevator and the chair was hard as a rock. I called the front desk, told me they didn't have recliners, I mentioned I was told that a chaise from the spa would be available. No, no one told me that, I was told. OK...As if I wasn't upset enough, I found used coffee grounds in my coffee maker, no soap, no toilet paper, no bottled water and hairs in the sink. Clearly this room was NOT cleaned prior to arrival. The water pressure was horrendous, having to wash my hair and rinse the shampoo out in the sink. I asked the next night for an ice pack; no they don't have them because no one has ever asked for one. No offer to get me a bag of ice, no offer to help. A wet used towel sat outside my son's room for 4 nights (not his) and a CAUTION WET FLOOR sign was outside mine for 4 nights. Staff walked by, did nothing. For the amount I paid for a 4 night stay, and then whacked another $120 upon exit, (for who knows what), I was disgusted. I paid close to $1200.00 to stay in a dirty, run down dump that seemed to hire only rude people. Had a manager or anyone competent in the hospitality industry been available, I would have demanded our money back.

Not sure what I was expecting, but this isn’t it. Currently one night in to our four night stay. The room is dirty, very musty, smelly, and I didn’t realize that smoking in casino resorts was still a thing (my fault for not checking that beforehand). I don’t recommend staying here if you’re smoke sensitive, or traveling with a child like we are.
When we arrived to our room, I found that the bedding on one of the beds had a large wet area on it, that smelled. It was obvious that housekeeping simply made the bed from the previous guests instead of putting new sheets on. The wet area seemed to be some sort of bodily fluids.. from the smell of it. We travel a decent amount every year and I can say this is something I’ve never experienced before.
We’re on a non smoking floor, but you definitely can’t tell.
Several areas of the hotel seem to be understaffed.
The rooms need a deep cleaning, air purification, and if anything else at least ensure that your guests have clean bedding. Also, not sure what’s up with only having flat sheets available for the mattress? No fitted sheets.
Won’t be back.

My family and I had the displeasure of spending the weekend at the imperial palace recently and had an awful experience. I understand that some amenities were not available due to Covid but the service we received went beyond that. We were told informed that we wouldn’t receive housekeeping service for our stay, which was fine because it was only a 2 night stay, but this place was disgusting! All floors and rooms reeked of cigarette smoke, there were hairs found in the bed, and countertops were sticky. In the 90s, we would stay at IP with our parents. Sadly, it appears as though this place has not been cleaned or updated since.

So for the last year or so I've been getting mailers from the IP in Biloxi for free rooms/food/concerts/ bets ect . So I'm in town staying elsewhere and stop in to play cards. Last time there I think I lost around 500 which explains all of the mailers. I play for around 80 minutes, taking with others, tipping, ect and I'm about 15 bucks ahead when the manager comes and kicks me out? Told me he doesn't want my business and I'm trespassed and has security escort me to my car. Trespassed...I couldn't believe it. For what? Hitting 12 vs a 2? I'm not some young card shark...I'm over 50 and betting no more than 100 at a 25 dollar table. I never had any issues there before of any kind. Thank God I wasn't staying there. Very disappointing to say the least. I love the Biloxi area, but the IP will never have to worry about me coming back again. Total joke.

+1
We don't usually stay at places this "fancy" but since my daughter and I were traveling alone we were a little concerned about safety, so we opted for something a little different. The hotel was great. Very good customer service, friendliness, very clean and comfortable. They were doing a great job at taking covid concerns and restrictions seriously. The pool area was amazing! The ease of free parking in the parking garage was very nice! The only "complaint" would be that the pool closes early. We came back from the beach and wanted to use the pool in the evening and found out that it is adults only from 8:00 - 9:00 and closes at 9 pm. Overall, a great stay. Would stay again!

Thank you for your feedback. We're so glad you and your daughter had a nice stay with us at IP! With the limited capacity restrictions due to Covid-19, we have had a slight change to the pool hours, closing an hour early. We're sorry for the inconvenience. We hope you'll join us again, soon.

The location of this property is pretty convenient although I found there wasn't ever any reason to leave. I stayed for 3 nights in mid March I was there for a fun weekend getaway. Parking garage is huge with plenty of spaces. I did not valet.
I'll start with the positives: The room I stayed in was very clean with plenty of space (2329). It was very nice to have a mini fridge in the room although there was no microwave (I think maybe one can be requested for a fee). The AC worked just fine it was not noisy at all and remained very cold throughout my entire stay just like I like it. Maybe I lucked out and had respectful neighbors but I never heard anyone close to my room being loud or disruptive late at night. Every single staff member that I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Savannah, Dave, and Bo in the sportsbook bar they were incredible given the large and never-ending amount of customers. They were amazing and they deserve significant raises! There are a few different food options on site ranging from the cafe/coffee shop to the higher end Thirty-Two (which I did not visit and can not comment on). I never once felt unsafe or that my belongings were unsafe while I was at this property. I did utilize the room safe and there were no issues. The casino takes up 2 floors here and I had a great time gambling although I can't comment on the table games I just stuck to slots and the sportsbook. I also visited the Chill bar on the main floor one night for drinks and service was quick and friendly.
If I had to nitpick, the only thing I can come up with is the bed wasn't the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in although it wasn't terrible. There is no daily house keeping right now and they serve a mostly limited food menu in the sportsbook bar except for on the weekends. I heard from someone who stays at this property often that the pool area was understaffed. Yes, this place is currently understaffed just like every single other establishment is these days. I did not visit the gym or spa so I can't provide feedback on that. Bring a little bit of patience and a positive attitude and you will have a great time at the IP. I would definitely stay at this property again on a future trip to Biloxi and I would recommend it to others.

I’m not sure. If not just book one day and extend. That should work for week day but not weekend
Not really. There is a cab ride or Uber. The hotel may have a shuttle but you must qualify as a player
They do check your room # matching your name at the pool entrance. Check with hotel reservations. The pool has drink, food and towel service. Also a inside bar with seating during peak hours, restrooms and hot tub.
Yes you can use your comps. There are 3 different restaurants, one being a 24hr grill.
It’s a pizza place where you order off a kiosk. Wasn’t open the days I went, as of staffing shortages
