Our family has camped at Ann Lake Campground several times. Just as the Minnesota DNR states, it is primitive camping. You get a fire ring, a picnic table and sites that are large enough to be pretty private. We use a tent, and dislike the RV-ready campsites that are so predominate in other campgrounds. The campground was infested with mosquitoes and not really located on Ann Lake. I'm still not sure where the beach access is. Surprisingly quite full and busy. We were lucky to find a site when we arrived around 7pm. No alcohol permitted. I don't recommend.
