We loved this place so much Only a short distance from where we were staying. Great place for food and they welcome dogs. We ate here twice, once for a Sunday roast, the second for a midweek meal. Friendly staff, lovely and clean with a great seaview location. Would recommend a visit. The beach is great too.

Arrived 10 mins after food service had finished. A very nice waitress checked to see if the kitchen could still serve us. We were offered a choice of Sunday Roast Lunches. We chose beef and chicken, wonderful plates of food arrived, flavours were amazing. If in the area we will return again, thank you to all

The Coombe Barton is somewhere we visit when in the area we live in Launceston Cornwall, but this time we were very disappointed in the alterations which have been made to the pub, soul less is my best description, will only go back if it's fine enough to sit outside the owners can not spoil the view!

Last Sunday I had lunch with my Daughter at Coombe Barton Inn. The meal was brilliant. I had the roast lamb and my daughter had the nut roast. The meals were just brilliant and the service was just the very best. The presentation was worthy of a top class restaurant in London. You have to go to this wonderful place...

On the first night of our week break, we called in to the Coombe Barton Inn for dinner - I was looking forward to the Rib of Beef, having seen very positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Unfortunately, the menu offered it for two, at £40. So we passed on that, and I decided to have the fish and chips, which was...

I ordered a pint of real ale, it was very stale and tasted like vinegar. Having been a member of Camra for many a year i brought it to the attention of the licensee. Clearly not impressed by the audacity of my critism he declined to tast the offending ale himself but asked someone who's opinion he obviouly respected to...

After the first night, my review wasn't going to be very favourable, as we went for two nights and the original room we were in was really not good, however, as the staff were SO brilliant, and when we mentioned the issues, they moved us immediately to another room, I cannot give a poor review now. Ignoring the first room,...

Visited on a stormy Sunday with the wife and 2 boxer dogs. A beautiful looking pub from the outside in a gorgeous location. We both had the steak sandwich which was excellent. Perfect place to watch the English weather over the sea if you can get a window seat. Dog Friendly, Good food would go again
