Arriving at Turning Waters was like coming home! A very friendly and inviting place within walking distance of the charming town of Wabasha. The rooms were very inviting, the breakfast worth four stars. This is the place one hopes to return to...

You may come home anytime you like! We enjoyed having you and thank you for allowing us to join you for dinner at Los Portales. When your adventure takes you north again, we will have the light on and the margarita ready for you. Cheers Brenda & Ford

My husband and I spent three glorious nights in The River Room Suite. The suite was spacious, peaceful & relaxing. This stunningly beautiful inn was immaculate, warm and welcoming. Plenty of easily accessible parking. Brenda and Ford were friendly, fascinating and extremely helpful. They had a way of making us feel at home as if we were family. The breakfasts...

We were spoiled at Turning Waters and probably won't ever try another B & B because one could never compare. Clean, stylish, smart, welcoming, tasty, affordable... Brenda and Ford have it all figured out. All we had to do was put our feet up and enjoy.

We truly love our home and are thankful you felt like you were at home. I long to be as outgoing as you two were on your adventures here. Golf, hiking, biking, kayaking and eating are all favorites of mine and our area along the Mississippi River in Wabasha-Kellogg, and over the bridge to Nelson, Alma, Pepin and beyond. You...

We had a great first B&B experience at Turning Waters. Brenda and Ford were amazing hosts, who made us feel right at home and very comfortable. Our room and the common areas were clean, comfortable, and modern. All of the areas at Turning Waters had a little small town charm. We were impressed upon arrival and all through our stay,...

We love first time B&B guests and we hope that we have set high enough standards that you won't settle for less than what we offer at Turning Waters Bed & Breakfast and Ford's beer is amazing and yes the honey mead is delicious. Coming in the Fall, we will have blueberry honey mead for sampling. Thanks again and we...

WooHoo! Glad you enjoyed our beds as we think a great bed and of course an outstanding breakfast and two things that all B&B's should offer first and foremost. The extras like Ford's homebrew, our organic and locally sourced breakfast goodies or simply the laughs at the kitchen counter or on the front porch are a bonus to us as...

I've stayed in many B&Bs over the years, and this was, hands down, the best experience I've had. Brenda and Ford are fun-loving hosts and wonderful cooks who clearly want their guests to feel welcome and comfortable, including adjusting breakfast options to include veg. options. If you're traveling through Wabasha, give them a call.

Jaime, I apologize for the late response as I didn't see your review until now. We are so happy that you enjoyed yourself while visiting Wabasha. Making breakfasts is our specialty and it is easy to please all palates, especially vegetarians as we love veggies:) Blessings, Brenda & Ford

The Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast and Adventure is a beautiful large house about two blocks from the Mississippi River in an historic river town. The town sits in the valley of the Mississippi, one of the most beautiful places in the country in my opinion. The "adventure" in the title refers not to anything about the inn itself, but rather...
