I was finally able to reserve a room at The Voyageur after trying on and off for a few summers, as it's a pet-friendly, inexpensive property that recalls the North Shore roadside motels of my youth. We were not disappointed! The owner was friendly, the rooms were clean, and who needs air conditioning when summertime overnight temps in Two Harbors...

This is a small place with just 8 rooms right on the highway. There is no air, but they did have a stand fan in the room as well as a ceiling fan. It is about as basic as they come. Good enough for a night or stop over, BUT it is very over priced for the amenities and lack...

Clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, retiled shower. The proprietor was helpful and flexible with our early arrival time. There's no AC, but the open windows and fans were enough to keep comfortable as the evening cooled off. If highway noise bothers you, ask for one of the rooms away from the road. This place is a great value.

We stayed here for one night on our trip along the north shore. A nice and clean no frills place. Thoughtful owners that have put a lot of care into their hotel. Room is a little small but you can't beat the price and there is cable tv!

Our stay was for one night, a Sunday. With things as busy as they are on the North Shore during the summer, I was delighted to find a place for under $100. The room was just the right size for my husband, myself and our grandson. Yes, the bathroom is compact, but we weren't in the room very much. Everything...

I was pleasantly surprised to find this motel extremely clean, and comfortable. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again without a second thought. The rate brought us here, but the hospitality will definitely bring us back.

If you're a fan of small, unique, and reasonably priced motels then you'll love the Voyageur Motel. It's convenient location near food, a laundry, and a great breakfast place makes it ideal. Gigi, the owner goes out of her way to make her guests comfortable.

After Country Inn put me on "hold" (While i listened to the desk clerk chat with customers for 10 minutes) I called the Voyageur Motel. It was a great value. It was clean and not smelly. Lots of towels. comfortable bed. No breakfast but I am sick of those "continental" starch and sugar bars anyway. The proprietor directed us to...

I would stay at Voyageur Motel again in a heartbeat! Yes, it is an older model motel, so if that is an issue, then, maybe elsewhere is a good choice. My experience was a very friendly atmosphere, an extremely clean (immaculate!) room, and a great price. Open the windows, you're on the north shore. Rooms may not have air conditioning,...
