From the moment we walked in we thought well this place is way too old fashioned for us. Not our kind of decor at all. We are very modern/minimalist people but we had researched online and found out they had a modern wing so we...More

We stayed one night in the Penthouse suite. The decor is reminiscent of the eary 20th century.
A historical site it has a definite historical lobby and dining rooms. Beautiful original flooring, in black and white tile. Chandeliers and light fixtures are beautiful.

I'm sorry our guest felt obligated to post this. They called days after their departure to let us know they left the bag. It was in a very inconspicuous location when found. I was informed that the guests were contacted and the bag and cover has been mailed back to them. And yes, we trust our housekeeping staff with our guests valuables. I understand the cover had a strong personal attachment, and hope they get many more years of enjoyment fro it.
