Quite new bathroom, Beds pretty good, room not shopworn, breakfast OK, no meat. Coffee, juice nice. The owner does pay attention to details - including breakfast. They do quite well and if you have a bit of patience with them (on English), it's very acceptable. Not cheap, but convenient. Made a reservation for next year already.

We had a wedding function next door and stayed at this hotel 2/14 and 2/15 2014. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was kind enough to offer a life jacket for my younger daughter to use when he saw us in the pool area. The staff brought us anything extra we needed like soaps, towels, pillows each time...

This place is a joke…Not only were the prices out of whack for what you are getting, they refused to discount any portion of the hotel fees, even though they provided a completely unacceptable hotel experience. They have a lot to learn about what hotel guests want. My advice; don't waste your time and money here, and go with something...

I am originally from this area, so I thought I would try out this hotel as I didn't want to stay in Willmar. There wasn't anyone at the front desk, but there was a sign posted to dial 0 to get someone. Did just that and someone picked up straight away and was back in the lobby in about a...

I was in Willmar for a conference and the Holiday Inn and all Willmar hotels were sold out. I found a room available at the Northern Inn and booked it with some reservation reading the other reviews. However, I'm not sure what people are complaining about. The Northern Inn is a perfectly fine, small, privately owned hotel. Anyone who has...

I was a little apprehensive about this place after reading the reviews, but there wasn't a lot of choice, plus there's just no pleasing some folks, so I went ahead with the booking. They charge $10/pet, which is very reasonable. Front desk staff maybe not the most effervescent but efficient and reasonably friendly. The room did smell funny, but I...

Booking was easy and we were able to check in about a half hour early. The hotel does smell like smoke when you first walk in....although there are signs everywhere that indicate this is a non smoking hotel...but whatever, that smell lingers a very long time. There was also a smell of it being very old and outdated...but whatever, it...

I am a person who has always valued quality over quantity. I decided to take an "average" vacation because it is obviously more affordable on my college budget. I booked a mediocre hotel in this small town on the beach for my friends and I to meet up at this summer. I expected mediocre, and was greeted with far less....

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in September 2012 for a family wedding in the area. We were greeted with a smile by all staff throughout our stay, kindly extended early check in and late check-out, which was so helpful with all of our family events. Staff found my reservation when I call to inquire about these extras...
