The location is convenient to Red Wings attractions including the Sheldon Theater. The atmosphere was homey and breakfast was excellent. The room was large and included a Jacuzzi. The Christmas decorations and tree were period.

Very nice B&B in a lovely part of Red Wing. Comfortable place to stay, relax, rest and have as a home base to explore Red Wing. This B&B is not in the DT area, but close. We stayed in the Gypsy Room and were very comfortable. The bed was good quality and it was super quiet! The tub is a... More

Mike and Chris made us feel so welcome from the minute we walked in. Our room was beautiful with views to the south and east. The bed and pillows were comfy and plush. We enjoyed the whirl pool bath to relax after a day of biking the Cannon Valley Trail right near by.The breakfasts were out of this world good... More

We visited Moondance Inn in Red Wing, Mn and stayed two nights in the King room which was a fabulous experience! From the moment we walked in the door, we knew this was going to be a terrific place to "recharge" after a long day of driving. Our host greeted us and gave a brief tour of this beautifully restored... More

My husband and I stayed at Moondance Inn over our wedding weekend and we both agree that the Moondance Inn really added to the beauty, joy, and fun of our weekend! We really appreciate the owners because they were hospitable, accommodating, and professional and clearly took pride in their work. From the personal tour upon arrival, to the much needed... More

My husband and I stayed in the gypsy suite. It was amazing, and so romantic. I had never stayed at a B&B but this exceeded all of my expectations. Service was great, breakfast was good and the happy hour was a great touch. We will go back!

This the 4th year we have had our management retreat at the Moondance Inn. Our staff really enjoy the time at Moondance. The food is great and the staff are able to accommodate all of our special requests. Mike and Kris often join us during our leisure time to talk about the house and it's history. It is always a... We stayed in the king room and loved the room/experience. The bed was huge/very comfortable. The mansion itself was very unique and full of interesting artifacts. The breakfast was great, some of the best ham I've ever had! It is within walking distance to some restaurants as well.

The husband and I frequent B&B's often and thought this one was very nice. Definitely on the higher end of the scale. We first heard about it at another B&B where we met two New Yorkers who had just gotten engaged the night before. The gentleman surprised his soon to be bride by whisking her away to her favorite B&B... More

I recently attended a wedding at Moondance Inn, including staying at the Inn. Mike and Kris truly enjoy their jobs. They are warm, smart, hardworking and fun. Mike even manages to make an announcement to wedding guests about parking into a fun event! The breakfast food was wonderful and gracefully presented. The inn itself is a mansion with many original... More
