We couldn't have planned a better weekend! The couple running the inn take wonderful care of the building. If you are able, rent the cell block room to feel like you're spending the night in the slammer! We had that room as well as the drunk tank and shared a semi private porch with rocking chairs. It was relaxing and...

If you like historic places, a delicious breakfast, and antiques, you'll enjoy the JailHouse Inn. If you're adventurous, you can even choose to stay in an old jail cell. Otherwise, the bedrooms are beautifully decorated with antiques and vintage decor. The dining room is wonderful, with natural light flowing in. We had a hearty, and scrumptious breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed...

We stayed in the Sun Room. It had a queen bed and a couch that pulled out to a comfortable bed. The property is lovely, wth gardens, trees, shady lawns, a picnic area with tables to sit outside. The inn is immaculately cared for. Clean, quiet and tranquil. There was a jar of homemade chocolate chip cookies that I were...

The house and hosts were both wonderful. And the prices are very reasonable. I would certainly stay there again. Breakfast was amazing. I was a bit rushed as I had a meeting early in the morning, but the owners were very accommodating and still managed to pull together a delicious breakfast. This place is incredibly under-rated...it compares well with the...

We stayed for two nights in June of 2015. We stayed in the Bridal Suite. The room is perfect, and the bed the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Our breakfasts were out of this world, and we appreciated the option of choosing our time. Marc and Jeanne are delightful people and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Their...

My husband and I found this looking for a last minute place with availability for Valentine's Day. The only room available was the Cell Block, so we decided to try it. It is literally 4 jail cells combined to make a very spacious suite. I never expected it would be so large. It was really cozy! With multiple beds in...

We enjoyed very much our weekend getaway. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is excellent and there is plenty of it. The innkeepers are friendly and provide excellent service. We love this place!

This is a very cool place. A former county jail, it is set out along that theme, which is fun, but the best part is how nice both the rooms and the common areas are. We stayed in the Detention Room, which has a semi-private balcony (share with one, possibly two other rooms) that we really enjoyed. We also really...

This place is just the most awesome place we have stayed. Owners were more than awesome and great to chat with. No phone in the room nor a TV unless you ask for it. We had a real fireplace and a great hot tub. The bed was more than comfortable. The breakfast area was great and the food too. Lots...

we came upon this place totally by accident. Our intention was to stay at a B & B in Lanesboro Mn.All the places we had called in Lanesboro were full! One of the innkeepers in Lanesboro had suggested that we try the Jailhouse Inn in Preston. Boy are we glad that we did. The inn is absolutely gorgeous, and the...
