Me and my family stayed in apple cottage. It is built in the farm of owner the farm has many apricot trees. The environment there is very relaxing. Food here is also amazing. The only disadvantage here is hot bathing water comes for half an hour only in morning (6:30 to 7:00), but manager is good in nature if you will request him politely then he will start hot water after 7:00 AM also.
We are having group of 24 people with friends and family had great time. Food was excellent and very good service makes it perfect. Good Location, surrounded by trees makes it perfect to stay. By luck got a chance to meet owner, offered very helpfull advice and support to kids to get recover. Tents are very good in quality.

Visited Leh Ladkah it was a breathtaking experience. The weather was perfect. We spent 4 days. Did all the stuff we loved hiked, went site seeing etc. We went for a drive up the hills only to reach the beautiful Pangong Tso it was an heaven on earth experience. We stayed at Apple Nurba Cottage and Mr Madan was very hospitable. If you plan on visiting you must ask for him. Their cottages are amazing must visit.
Apple cottage in Hunder, Nubra valley is a must experience. My suggestion, do not limit it to 1 night. The Swiss tents are self contained and cosy. They have a nice sit-out area for enjoying your chit-chat, tea/coffee or just do nothing and open your ears to the music that nature plays. The garden around is house for apricots, apples, flowers, vegetables, rabbits, birds...surrounded by beautiful mountains, Apple cottage is a treat. Food is decent. I liked the idea of serving bed tea in the morning...its amazing to have your morning tea in midst of beautiful nature.
We stayed in Apple Cottage for 1 night and I think that one night is less to enjoy the beauty of Nubra valley. It is surrounded by the beautiful mountains & very near to the famous double humped camel. There are apricot & apple trees inside the camp and the manager offered us yummy apricots & you should give a shot if they are ripe. Don't expect 5-star facilities in a camp, but they have made best possible arrangements in terms of comfort, housing & food. Bring along a portable music speaker & visit preferably in a large group to enjoy the beauty, night chill, and bonfire. There will be no mobile reception in most of the Nubra valley (except for BSNL users). Disconnect yourself with all the gadgets & absorb the amazing landscape of Hunder. PS: Pak border is around 70-80 kms…
The Cottages are very cozy, neat, clean and colourful. This is must place to stay. The washrooms are very clean. Good food. They provide you wood for bon-fire. The ambience around the cottages is full of nature. Perfect location for relaxation.
My Stay was limited to 1 night only but rest assured this place is must visit after such a long journey from Leh - Huder.Everything about this place is simple and basic yet it is appealing and you don't feel bored. Tents are basic yet accommodative and sufficient to provide you a nice sleep. I didn't encounter any mosquitos issues, however, I cannot deny it since the property is surrounded by trees and greenery so mosquitos are evident. The property is situated in quite environment, surrounded by scenic mountains and nice people. When it comes to service, well it was pretty good. Nothing to boast about. Food was OK.
The cottages are super awesome, they have proper bed with 3 thick quilts which are must haves in the freezing cold. Washroom has proper western toilet and good amount of flowing water, very cold though! Electricity is a problem here, its available only from evening 7 to morning 11, so charge your devices in given time. The place is cold so carry woolen clothes. It has good plantations in the surrounding and you can enjoy bonfire at night. Food quality too is good, only they need to serve it slightly early, food is served at 8:30. But you can go and eat maggie whenever you want.
