I am glad we chose Panah earthen retreat as our Panah for a week and it was absolutely amazing experience. best part of this resort is that its promoting sustainable tourism which is need of the hour. Resort Runs on Solar so 24x7 power and hot water. Saw for the first time, the walls were painted from a fullers earth clay (Multani mitti) which helped in maintaining the oxygen level in the room and keeping it warm as well. The upper machan is a perfect place for observing the scenic view along with enjoying the hot served meals. Resort also provide the experience which no other resort in Leh can provide. Visited Siachen and a small village turtuk as a part of Experience and it was indeed the best experience so far. I recommend this to everyone visiting Leh.

With my experience If you go to nubra then panah is a very nice place for you to take shelter. You will feel like at home there. They provide everything Whenever you need anything, you can ask for help from irshal brother. He will always be there. I also liked the behaviour of all the staff...

Late Night we had Barbeque with delicious starters in both veg & non-veg and continued with Dinner and also birthday celebrations.

Barbeque starters were extraordinary and we haven't tasted such type of starters before ,its mostly like Himalayan style ,we always prefer trying new dishes and it was the perfect place for us.

And Next day morning ,we went for river side Breakfast at Nubra Valley,Wowww! what a beautiful day to start with somuch of energy and also sunrise along with lovely breakfast. We have never tried Kashmiri Kawah before, but the day we tasted it at Panah ,thats the day i became a big fan of this drink. And also we have some minimal fruits & sandwiches and had great time.

And Panah has planned for Stargazing at Sandunes but due to weather conditions,we couldnt see the clear sky .But if you are visiting this property ,you must add this to your package.

The resort is so natural, artistic and well curated. Luxarious, cozy and an abode of peace, tranquility and lavishness after hectic travel from Leh and back from Pangong. The food and hospitality is amazing. Anyone visiting must ask for Jakuzi well in advance.

Had an extraordinary visit to Leh and Panah was the Essence of it all with it’s perfect hospitality for a summer retreat. The friendly staff, the beautifully planned landscape, the organic and sustainable approach to everything from toiletries to recycling the water from the hammam for farming, staying at Panah has been an amazing experience. I also celebrated my birthday at the resort which was by far the best one I have had, with a perfectly organised private bonfire, barbecue & music, that too at last minute’s notice. Definitely recommend Panah to anyone planning a trip to Leh!

By far one of the best eco friendly stay we have stayed in. This is a small 6 room facility. So there is the peace and quite you want in a place like this. The hamam in the rooms was unexpected. On our arrival we had the warm nice bath to relax our nerves. Plus point is that the water from hamam is reused for gardening.

The extra point for the staff. They do not have a restaurant but many dining areas including in room dining. The staff serves you all you want without any hesitation.

I, along with my family, would like to extend my sincere thanks to Panah - The Earthen Retreat, for organising a memorable trip to Ladakh and making our stay at the resort so comfortable.
We enjoyed excellent services, well behaved staff, sumptuous food and spacious rooms with complete privacy.

We will cherish each and every moment of our time spent in the lap of nature surrounded by formidable snow peaked mountains soaked in bright sunshine, peace and tranquility, pure air, apricot trees in full bloom, sand dunes at walking distance and a beautiful night sky.

During our visit to India's last village called "Thang", had the privilege to meet and interact with GOBA ALI!
Found the Concept of natural freezers in a Turtuk village quite intriguing.
Visit to the wish lake near Panamik was a wonderful experience.

Looking forward to a repeat visit to Panah during apricot season to devour them straight from the trees 😋.

Seema.

I am writing to express my appreciation for the quality of service you offered me the days of my stay at the panah, the earthen retreat.

It was a good decision; I enjoyed the peace and quiet I needed, offered in all the facilities of your resort. This definitely added to the excellent service of the staff, and great hospitality

I will definitely recommend your hotel to friends and family, and I’m sure I’ll be back on vacation. I hope to get the same quality of service when I return. Thanks again, see you soon.
