Stone Hedge is a luxurious property located in Nubra, Ladakh. There is a perfect combination of nature and luxury at the hotel. The spacious rooms offer a mesmerizing view of mountains and flowing streams. In addition, there is a private fireplace in the room. It doesn't get any cozier than that! A breathtaking view could be seen from the bathtub in the room. There is a spa, a Jacuzzi, a Chai cafe, and both outdoor and indoor dining areas at the hotel. It has a beautiful garden with a fish pond. While sipping hot tea, you can relax on the comfortable chairs beside the flowing water. It was amazing to see an area where they grow their own vegetables. The service was good & the staff was very friendly. This is a perfect place to escape into serenity, peace and self-reflection without forgoing luxury and comfort.…
Despite being in the remotest part of India, I was astonished by the architecture of this beautiful property. My wife and I stayed at Stone Hedge and it was one of the best hotels we have ever been to. This property boasts the best service, hospitality, food, spa, panoramic views of Nubra Valley from the windows, a stream flowing by their property, a small garden full of fresh vegetables, and much more that makes it a heaven on earth. Dinner and breakfast are served with some amazing Ladakhi authentic cuisine. The staff is very accommodating and courteous. The luxury premium room we booked was excellent, and I highly recommend it. Our original plan was to stay for one day, however we were so impressed with the property that we extended it to two days.
Stayed in the property with family.. The ambience, rooms and staff hospitality was beyond excellent. Mr. Anil took extra care while attending to us during dinner as well as breakfast. Highly recommend to all people planning for a visit to Nubra.
Stayed two days at this beautiful property and would term the stay as near perfect. Wonderful rooms..great layout and impeccable service.. The beautiful rivulet which flows through the property and the beautiful mountain surrounding makes the experience surreal.
Wonderful resort ! Unbeatable location and great team of staff! As result Excellent stay and good memories. Would want to return again some day. Mr. Anil Rana and his team very warm and caring and always on their toes to serve with smile. We recommend very strongly.
The food and service were impeccable. Mr. Anil Rana took care of us and was personally helping us out with recommendations The view and stream added to the charm of the place. Would definitely recommend this place
Woow factor with view of the property and it's surrounding. Food was 9 course meal with mix of authentic Ladakhi and mix. Overall wonderfull , stay for 2 days to take full advantage , Nubra . Dinner was most deliciuos and breakfast we have local food with mix of many new items.
We were pleasantly surprised to see such an awesome hotel at such a remote location. It’s a designer boutique hotel , each and every part and corner of the property very thoughtfully designed with local material. It has its distinctive memorable identity . As a fresh water stream running through the hotel , one can hear the water sound all the time . Very big comfortable rooms, very caring staff and very delicious food with lot of variety . True to its name it’s surrounded by beautiful stone mountains . Stanzin , the energetic owner took personal care of us Wish to visit again for longer duration .
The location of this hotel is super special, facing rocky outcrops with a spring water stream gurging around the perimeter. Rome's are spacious with sit-out balconies. There is no airconditioning but table and ceiling fans are provided in every room. Toiletries are all in place. The restaurant serves set meals covering a long list from starters till dessert. Small servings but at the end of the meal you feel stuffed. The restaurant staff are courteous, efficient and attentive. The Manager addressed our grievance promptly when we told him that the noise from the kitchen above our room was disturbing. The next day we were shifted to a room on the ground floor. Highly recommended.
I stayed in the property with my family for one night. We were instantly bowled over by the scenic lawns, stream of clear water flowing across and the eco-friendly nature of the hotel. On recommendation of my relative who stayed few days before, I booked the property and Siddhant helped me for the same, though I had to forfeit the advance paid at the other property. I was given room on 3rd floor, a Lux premier room which as I understand was recently completed and we were the second guest staying in the room. Ms Priya and Ms Nozom were helpful in check in but there were several drawbacks in the room and property which I wanted to highlight - 1. There was no clothes hanging stuff placed, though the spot is earmarked for same. When I asked them, thankfully a carpenter was called and he placed the rod. 2. Drilling and hammering was going on in the adjacent room, which I requested the staff to stop it as we want some peace of mind. 3. The main door entrance near the lock, the wood was coming out and can cause injury to someone. 4. The washroom shower doesn't provide hot water, it was just bare minimum lukewarm. Though the washbasin had hot water. 5. The jacuzzi knobs were very sharp and my wife injured her finger (snap attached). 6. Though you have FFTH wifi at the property but the signal was too week. Thankfully Nozom gave her mobile to get internet. It was very kind of her. 7. During breakfast time, the restroom in Terrace area was very dirty and is something unexpected in the fine property of yours. 8. Washroom opposite to reception has toilet seat and basin with cracks. Only department which shined there was F&B. The food was excellent and staff very courteous, especially 9-course dinner. Such a nice property but so many flaws which are avoidable. The room tariff in Stonehedge is none less than the best 5 star property in Leh, but when it comes to services, things go downhill. A mail was sent to the Sales Mgr, but apart from customary 'Sorry' and 'will revert', none took cognizance of the feedback.…
