We recently visited Viking Bay Lodge by Boat and when we walked into the office / store there was no one around to help us. We were there to buy gas for our boat and to pick up some items in the store like ice, candy, etc. One of the people from our party used the restroom and when they...

I'm sorry that you had a bad experience at our resort but I can assure you that this was never our intention. This is a private family owned resort which puts it's guests first, but also caters to local lakeshore owners from the hours of 8am-5pm daily. We were not around to assist you because you were visiting us after...

Both times my husband and I stayed we had a great time. Can't wait to go again. My husbands family used to have a cabin on the lake so we enjoy going back and are glad we found a place we like. We have stayed in two different cabins now. I like the looks of the remodeled ones.

The owners/managers are nice people who make an effort to make sure their guests have whatever they need to enjoy their stay. They take...

Great resort with great owners. Cabins on the beach were nice, kids loved the swimming area and you have to opportunity to rent a pontoon or fishing boat. We caught lots of fish and made a fire in the fire pits at night. It was a very relaxful vacation.

My family has stayed in the lodge at Viking Bay on three separate occasions. The owners/managers are delightful people who take great care of their guests and take pride in their property. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the grounds are well-maintained, the swimming beach is a hit with the kids, and the boat lifts are in good condition. Gift...
