We rented two rooms at Grandmas Inn. Pat was very friendly, rooms exceptionally clean. Nice breakfast both mornings. Very close to downtown and the root River bike trail. We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of common areas in the house to watch tv, play games or chat and relax.

This is my first ever TripAdvisor review… Two of us stayed on the upper floor for four weekday nights. Each room had its own bathroom. Our floor had a large fully stocked kitchen, a dining area, two living room areas with big screen TV’s, and an outside deck. There is a room off the lower patio to keep bikes and...

Pat is very accommodating and the house is located just a block from all of the downtown businesses and the bike trail. The upstairs common facilities make this a great set-up for family or group gatherings. It's not luxurious, but it's clean, homey, and comfortable. Note that there is no continental breakfast during the week, so plan accordingly. We would...

We have gathered as siblings and spouses for the past 2 years at Grandma's Inn. We use all 6 of the bedrooms upstairs. The layout is perfect for bringing everyone to a central location to eat, play cards and games both inside and out, and bond after losing both parents within 5 months.. The breakfasts that Pat serves are a...

We just spent our 2nd annual sibling weekend at Grandma's Inn, and had a great time!! Pat is the best!! She makes us delicious breakfast every morning, is immediately available if we need anything, and the rooms are always spotless. We've already booked the inn for our next year! HIGHLY recommend!

Grandma’s Inn in Lanesboro is ideally located one block from the Root River, the Root River Bike Trail, and downtown Lanesboro. The friendly owner, Pat, is very hands-on. We felt that our clean, spacious room was fairly priced compared to other lodging in the area. The only negative we experience was a large, noisy group that came after midnight and...

This is the third time we have rented "Grandma's Inn" and we love it! There was 16 of us this year and it is so great that we can all be together and everyone has a bed. The location is perfect! Pat is the most genuine host and she keeps the place spotless, the beds are comfortable and she replaces...

The inn keeper was very nice and we thought it was very quaint at first. But we had to go out of our bedroom to get to the bathroom and the house seemed old. It was clean but furniture was from the 80's. We were turned off when the inn keeper said she would serve left over quiche for breakfast....

This home was built in 1895. And Yes it is old. But it is the best place to stay in Lanesboro. We make sure that all of our guests are comfortable. You have the best beds, the cleanest place to stay. Your friend booked this for you and was very happy to stay here. I am the only one that...

OK, first time was fantastic, and no complaints. This time, Pat remembered us, and it felt like we were welcomed with open arms, and can hardly wait to go back. Just felt so at home, lots of room, and all the things we needed for a great weekend, girl's weekend. Will stay here anytime we are in the Lanesboro area....

I loved it. My friends camped and I needed a place to stay. I called last minute and was able to get a reservation. It was an incredibly comfortable bed and very well kept. I loved the wrap around porch to sit out in a rocking chair and enjoy my morning coffee. I can't think of a better way to...

“Some rooms have their own bathroom, others have a shared bathroom in the hallway. Check with Pat the owner to make sure your room has it's own bathroom if this is a priority for you. The shared bathroom looked like it was shared with just 2 or 3 rooms...so it probably wouldn't be a huge issue.”
