Best value for a resort since Maldives is very expensive. Easy access from Male airport, only 20 min by boat. Buffet meals is abundance and good, best house reef. staff are attentive and helpful, superior room comes with safe deposit box (free), I was in room# 93, manage to do snorkel without life vest by the main jetty. always see...

We had planned a four week, four island trip to The Maldives and the main reason for booking Embudu was because our Daughter, Son-in-Law and family would be there and we wanted to surprise them! Reservations Manager, Rasheed, arranged for us to stay in a room next door to them and kept our secret for months. Embudu is a more...

I was put off booking as it seems a lot cheaper than other resorts, travel bag explained it's because you don't have a pool and a number of restaurants, so if you want a quiet island with great food, drink, accommodation.. And they were right, exceed all expectations, hardly saw anyone except meal times, great beaches, wildlife, snorkelling, would highly...

As a first time guest to a Maldivian resort I was excited by the location and the snorkeling opportunities. Embudu is a natural paradise and the amenities are far beyond a budget resort. Excellent food, friendly staff, well kept and very decent accommodation, superb beaches, lot of snorkeling routes and access channels. I will definitely enjoy coming back.

I have been to Embudu six times and will certainly go again. The island is naturally beautiful and nature’s gift to mankind is well taken by the village management. Stunning sandy coves as well as long beaches with the most interesting coral reef stretching all the way round the village is something that one should experience. The food was amazing!...

Probably my fifth or sixth visit here and I felt that I had to write a review given that the place seems to be getting better and better every time. I have been to a lot of resorts in the Maldives and when you look at the high price, sometimes you question value for money. Embudu Village is certainly the...

The room was renovated but at 3 stars level (no TV). They clean the rooms twice a day. Beads and pillows are pretty hard so we used our own pillows. You can get towels for room and free deckchair on the beach. Air conditioning was good so we did not know what is the sound of air conditioning and what...

Did what it said on tin. We had just got off a Dhoni that we had been on for a week & wanted to chill & snorkel & we did. The whole place was basic but we expected that. The food was very nice for buffet & the puddings gorgeous. The reef was lovely & we met up with a...

Get away from it all - you can do it here. Big advantage, breezes on one side, still calm and hot on the other - generally! Great snorkeling tho the coral has suffered a die off. Sharks turtles, rays. Herons and a house egret. Also the express drift snorkel down the current. Help by not standing on the reef, crossing...
