The hotel and staff were very attentive to our needs, nothing was a chore and we felt both welcome and catered for without compromising our privacy. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated with so many interesting pieces of art and sports memorabilia, and the Motor house was a great visit with their classic car collection! The food was excellent and...

I booked Afternoon tea here as this was on route from a visit to a NT property to my home. On arrival we were shown to our table, which rather than being a formal dining table was a large coffee table surrounded by very comfortable sofas. This provided a very relaxed and informal setting which combined with our option of...

This is our second visit to the Deer Park and it was just as lovely as the last time. Exceptional service from the staff, beautifully furnished rooms, wonderful food; we can high recommend the afternoon tea! The place is just so relaxing and tranquil, a real gem. We'll definitely be back again......I can't wait!

The setting is beautiful and dinner and breakfast both superb. We booked a 'garden room' but with no explanation given a room in the main building - the orchid room. We were only staying one night so the view of the conservatory roof wasn't a problem. The bathroom appeared newly fitted and was fine however the room itself was a...

I've never been motivated to write a review on a hotel before, but I feel compelled to share my delight and pure pleasure at the charm and friendliness of this lovely hotel. Set in the most beautiful of surroundings, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive to make sure we (and our 2 dogs) had a wonderful stay....

We arrived for a business lunch and had booked to stay in the hotel. We were welcomed by the excellent Beverley in Reception who I had spoken to previously on the telephone when booking and who could not have been more helpful. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to Peony room which was large and very comfortable with a...

I booked a last minute nights stay at the Deer Park Hotel (a long couple of days work in Cornwall-the drive to Hampshire wasn't happening without some sleep!) I arrived about 1930 and from the minute I arrived, the staff were incredible. The lady on reception kindly gave me a Garden Room on the ground floor, (despite being allocated a...

Stayed for a few days in December & again in January..nothing changes, the Deer Park is just so comfortable & ticks most of the boxes...the staff were as usual more than obliging. We are not sure who enjoys staying most, us or our dogs as they are always pampered!

Our son and daughter in law held their wedding reception here on 11th March. We cannot thank the staff enough for all the time and attention they put into making their day so very special. We had the undivided attention of staff the day before to set up and on the day - ready to help us with anything we...
