This motel is old and very basic, along the main road towards Duluth. We did enjoy the full sized refrigerator, but were somewhat disappointed over-all otherwise. Ask for a room in back, further away from traffic.
Room was large, parking easy right outside, quiet. Reasonably comfortable, bathroom clean, lots of hot water. We liked being at the back of the motel site, away from the main road.
All in all, a very pleasant overnight stay. Not too expensive.
We decided last minute to get out of town for Labor Day weekend and it was one of the only places available within 100 of Duluth and for less than $100/ night for 3 adults and 1 kid so we went for the drive..
