As noted by others, this property is in need of updating. When we checked in, the room temp was 40˚, several hours later after turning up the thermostat, it was still chilly as it was all night. Heating system is also very noisy even with earplugs. Room furnishing were well worn and in need of replacing. Bathroom had been updated...

Visited for a hockey tournament. Our team had to book here as nothing else had availability. Called 2 times and requested a refrigerator and was told our team was not blocked in rooms with refrigerators. (They have "updated" some of their rooms to have refrigerators and microwaves) They said they noted my request and usually have extras available. Get to...

This hotel is nice/rusitc but is in need of a makeover. The lobby is really nice with an outdoors motif, but get to the rooms and not so much. The rooms are clean but very outdated. We stayed at a poolside room and it was very loud, which is expected. Overall nice but needs to be improved.

The front lobby is very up north feeling and welcoming. The staff was very friendly. When we arrived in our room it was very chilly. We turned up the heat, but our room was chilly all evening. We found a bun on the floor in our room from previous people and our shower did not drain well.

I stayed here one night and was not impressed. My room overlooked the employee smoking area behind the hotel so I couldn't open a window, the fridge didn't work and I found out the next morning that it was unplugged....for how long nobody knows. The thermostat didn't work and the shower went from ice cold to boiling hot in about...

Classic up nort hotel feels like your in a lodge. Rooms need some upgrading but are clean and comfy. Business rate during the week only $59.00. Use this as your base and explore the area. Big pool area with pool side rooms. Enjoy

I stayed at the Sawmill Inn for business. Despite other reviews I had read, I found my room very clean and comfortable. The rooms do need updating, but it is very reasonably priced for the accommodations. It has a bar, restaurant and pool, which I wouldn't normally expect for that price. But the best thing I liked about the hotel...

This hotel needs updated rooms, but our rooms were clean. I have already loved the restaurant for many years. Staff was super friendly, and very accommodating. If the rooms were updated, it would be very nice.

Wonderful family owned hotel. I read the complainers reviews before booking. This isn't brand new. It's a 30 year old previous Holiday Inn. They are in the midst of making upgrades. Our room had a flat screen tv and was just fine. Plus the bonus of a nice large pool for my kids. Staff were awesome. Nice coupon tucked into...

This place was so gross we couldn't even get comfortable after we exchanged rooms. Wallpaper falling down, old bedspreads, dirty tub and sink, we booked 2 nights and left after the first night, first thing in am. It really needs an updated look and feel, but for 80 a night, oh, hell no! I know the owner is a veteran...
