The HHH bed and breakfast in Faribault MN was an excellent getaway. The house itself is large, well maintained and has a wealth of historic antiques that the owners are proud to talk about. Our room, the Coughlin room, was much larger than we expected, (bigger than the average hotel room) and well furnished. While the B&B is 'historic' the... More

On a recent visit to Minnesota for a wedding in Webster we chose nearby Faribaut as our “base camp.” We searched the web for attractive B&Bs and landed on the Historic Hutchinson House. We could not have chosen better accommodations or hosts. The house is a glorious Queen Anne “painted lady” sitting atop a hill showing her off in all... More

We stayed at the Inn Ryder Cup weekend and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Tami and her little sidekick Louie the French Bulldog were the perfect hosts!!! Tami's breakfasts were amazing and one morning she even made sure we had breakfast to take with us to watch the golf as we were leaving early. The B&B is located... More

Stayed at the Historic Hutchinson Inn for one night on our way to the Ryder Cup as an alternative to the normal chain hotels. Tami and Louie looked after us brilliantly during our stay and we had the best breakfast of our trip here - totally different from the usual American Breakfast and delicious. From the moment you arrive Tami... More

We stayed at the Historic Hutchinson House in September to celebrate our 18th Anniversary. :-) We were looking for something close to the Twin Cities that had biking/hiking nearby. We would highly recommend staying at the Hutchinson. Tami, Doug, and Louie (their French Bulldog) were great hosts. We enjoyed the historic stories over delicious breakfast, the room, and meeting some... More

The itinerary you planned for your weekend is the dream for all our guests! Two-days packed with both outdoor and indoor activities that include biking/hiking trails (10 miles for the "fat tire" crowd, plus groomed cross-country skiing and snow-shoe trails in the winter), in addition to river activities such as SUP and kayaking. And local lore . . . Faribault... More

This house has an interesting history. The owners will tell you about it. They are so nice and friendly and make you feel right at home. The décor is beautifully antique and the rooms are wonderfully decorated. The breakfast was delish! We all loved their dog, too! I was there with a group of friends but now I want to... More

My stay at Hutchinson House was positive in every respect. Although she recently had had a death in her family, Tami went out of her way to make me feel at home and was helpful and informative without being intrusive. My room (Coughlin) was very spacious and comfortable. Tami provided excellent information about the inn and the history of the... More

Thank you for your kind review considering how very stressful this weekend was following the death of my mother-in-law. The "full-house" of guests proved to have the perfect mix of incredibly understanding and compassionate people! Thanks to all who shared the emotional weekend with us. More

This is the 2nd time my girlfriends and I have stayed at Hutchinson House and it just keeps getting better. We enjoyed wine and cheese on the porch and had leg and foot massages! It was heavenly! The rooms are really cute and spacious and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic! Definitely recommend this place!

What a lovely place! I stayed here on a rainy Thursday night, and it was the perfect place to hang out, read a book and play with Louie. The home is beautifully restored and maintained. The common areas are comfortable and very inviting. The guest rooms are lovely and the beds are quite comfortable. I stayed in the Professor's Room.... More

Was in Faribault for a conference and decided to stay here instead of a chain hotel. It's an easy walk to downtown restaurants and businesses, and Tami & Doug couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The entire inn is gorgeous, and my room was clean and cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Looking forward to going back when... More
