We came back here for a short break - I picked this hotel as I stayed here before on business, and wanted it enjoy it for pleasure. The place is as beautiful as I remembered. There were slight confusion over our reservation, and the booking for spa treatment, but the staff were really good in trying to resolve these issues...

We took an offer for this, the use of the spa and swimming pool with sauna etc and massage. So I am not commenting on the hotel, food, rooms etc just the spa facilities. The location is stunning set in magnificent grounds and a vista across the Cheshire plains. The welcome was nice and we were sorted quickly. The facilities...

Lovely setting overlooking the golf course. The room although could do with a facelift, had everything, shower, hairdryer tea making facilities hairdryer iron and two chairs and table. Clean and comfortable and very quiet surroundings. The food in restaurant was really good excellent chef but I have had better breakfasts. The drinks as always very expensive spoils it a little...
