The food was excellent, wholesome and very enjoyable, with extra gravy offered. Chips are small but very nicely cooked and plenty of them. Good selection of beers. Service was great. The only...

Called in for some lunch after visiting before. The food was absolutely beautiful. All homemade. The chips are to die for. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely go back again. Can't beat home cooked food at affordable prices.

Walked up to the Robin Hood with friends and dogs on a cold and wet Sunday afternoon. It's a great traditional pub with plenty of space. A warm welcome, Good food and good beer. I will definitely be going back.

We always come here for food with family who love close by, the food is fantastic every time, always cosy when the weather is cold and lovely staff! If you come on a Sunday definitely have the Sunday roast, it's perfect!

Wonderful warm welcome after a long drive in a 1930s car. Our room was cosy and inviting with a view out over the moor. The evening meal was lovely with plenty of choice, likewise the breakfasts in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and when our car broke down on Saturday making us late for our...
