The room itself is ok, large bed, desk area, reasonably well appointed bathrooms. Pillows are the cheapest, low quality ones you can imagine though. It is NOISY - there's very little sound proofing between the rooms or the corridor. The real 'fun' starts at breakfast though. Ten pounds, for a twenty minute queue; waiting at the end of which was...

Dear Sir I cannot believe that you have written this review based on our property. We have ample duty managers on shift who could have dealt with anyone of the complaints that you have listed as they occurred, rather than leaving us with this opinion. Having assessed our residents over the past month I cannot find any details relating to...

Email of customer satisfaction sent to GM: Thought I would drop a line to express how thoroughly impressed we were with your help with preparation in relation to our visit yesterday. Many thanks and well done praise to your staff team! Bravo! On arrival, the lovely Brian (who I believe is a new recruit) was very accommodating and welcomed us...

We stayed for 2 nights as we had a reception on the Saturday. We intended to eat in the restaurant on Friday night, but it was very loud and fairly uncomfortable, so cancelled, the prices also looked quite high. Not impresssed by the breakfast either. The wedding reception was great but organised by the couple and friends

Dear Jon Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. I can only apologise if our restaurant was busy during your stay with us, it is unfortunate that some nights it is a little livelier than others. I am sorry that breakfast did not impress you, we are currently rebuilding our breakfast area so that we can offer...

A large group of my family and friends were here for a show. The hotel is very nice but it was let down by the bar staff at the show, who constantly made "mistakes" when it came to drinks prices and change. A lot of us in the group paid completely different prices for the exact same drinks throughout the...

Dear Lee Thank you for your review, I would have hoped that you would have spoken to a manager on duty about this rather than a review forum as we would obviously be keen to rectify this matter on the night. We have a large number of trainees on shift Friday in preparation for Christmas, it is the only way...

We had stayed at the US Quality Inns, which are cheap and not especially cheerful, and since this one is presumably part of the same chain (it's actually called Quality Inn Hotel), I expected the same sort of experience. We stayed for two nights because we were guests at a wedding which included two meals at the hotel. In fact...

To echo my sisters comments, I wanted to thank the lovely staff at QHB for making my first GNR experience stress free! We stayed in a twin room for two nights prior to the GNR. Plenty of information was available regards to breakfast the morning of the run and express room checkout. The room was clean, very well equipped and...

Stayed for 2 nights as my sister was running on the Sunday. Room was clean, well equipt and the beds comfy. Great location for exploring Newcastle and for the run. Hotel staff were fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and they catered for the runners with a 'pasta' menu Saturday evening and opening breakfast earlier on the Sunday. We had...

Stayed here for a weekend with my partner. Very nice room, large bed and clean bathroom! Leisure area was nice also, pool was open until 10pm so plenty of time to enjoy! Rooms had everything you needed, although the hairdryer could do with updating! Great hotel overall.
