We opted for d'Omah Hotel to give participants a true Yogyakarta experience. d'Omah is founded by Warwick Purser, a businessman, philanthropist and affluent art patron in Yogyakarta who is also known as the King of... Extra-ordinary! This place is exactly what you need after a busy day in beautiful Java. It has just that kind of peace and beauty. The different units are very originally decorated and the pool a great place to relax. The staff is so friendly. Charlotte

I still think that this hotel is unique with loads of character and gorgeous art work. The location is good is you wish to be out of the city. Tembi village is an authentic Indonesian setting away from chain hotels and restaurants. But it was a disappointing experience for us as returning visitors. We visited D’Omah in June 2016 and... Nice boutique hotel, staff were friendly and food was very good. Was quite noisy could hear the people next door and there is a loud morning prayer however the hotel provide earplugs. Unfortunately they had a power cut the morning we were leaving so I couldn't have a shower.

Enjoyed the more authentic style accommodation next to the rice paddies yet not far from Yogyakarta. Loved the pools, the gardens, viewing the spectacular storm from the veranda and even the early morning call to prayer from the local mosque.
