Just got back from a weekend trip to Silent Sport Lodge. We stayed in the Mountain room which has a king bed and is ever so comfortable. Breakfast today was so pretty I had to take a picture! We snowshoer on their groomed trails today and yesterday cross country skied on their property. Great bird watching, deer and just lovely...

Wow, I can't say enough about this wonderful place. A true log cabin that is back in the woods nestled by a river. The owners, John and Rhonda were great! Pleasant to talk with and very knowledgeable about the area. Gosh the food was awesome too! My husband, Jim, and I have not had the opportunity to be away together...

My family and I recently stayed at the river cottage. It was a nice, quiet, cozy place. It was so relaxing to just sit in the yard and listen to the river flowing by. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I would definitely consider going back.

John and Rhonda were incredible hosts, having an excellent knowledge of the area and make you feel like one of the family. The breakfasts were delicious. Their home and overall atmosphere was very welcoming...

This B&B was delightful. A fabulous find! In a secluded peaceful setting in the woods. Just sitting by the river listening to rippling waters and hearing the birds was such a treat. John and Rhonda are such a wealth of knowledge. They helped us map out our days journey to the near by Petoskey, Charlevoix, and Boyne city. They put...

What can I say about this lovely lodge nestled in the woods? It is absolutely charming. Our hosts Rhonda and John were a delight! We stayed two nights. Rhonda fixed yummy breakfasts, including the best pancakes with real maple syrup they boiled themselves. We stayed here with friends after helping with a move. We were absolutely exhausted after a hard...

THE most beautiful, not so rustic rustic, B&B I've ever stayed at. I was stunned that it is 18 years old. It feels like it was built yesterday. Clean to a fault, roomy, yet very private. The rooms are spectacular as was the food, the grounds (30 + acres), the wildlife and, of course, the hosts. John & Rhonda clearly...

“All the rooms are great. I stayed in the River Room and loved it. It was big, had a super comfy queen bed, a single bed/reading nook by the window, small deck and private bath. I slept like a rock and normally I don't sleep well anywhere but home.”
