We use Tripadvisor routinely to determine where we stay. I can only echo what so many previous guests, especially Rich H, have said about the Country Hermitage. The hosts, Carl and Lisa, are both personable and helpful-exceptional hosts. Carl's breakfasts were a culinary delight. Our room was just as advertised-very comfortable. The entire inn and grounds are an oasis. The...

We recently stayed at Country Hermitage for a long weekend along with a couple of our good friends. This was our third time staying here and the place gets better each time. Carl and Lisa, the proprietors, are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make everyone comfortable and happily entertained. This is a Bed and Breakfast in...

The Country Hermitage continues to deliver excellent customer service year after year. My daughter and I have been staying here for the past three years and cannot say enough wonderful things about our experiences. The views are spectacular and the grounds are meticulous. The pond is a delight and the afternoon treats are a pleasure. The rooms have always been...

We have been going to the Country Hermitage B&B for years and fell in love with the beautiful grounds. We chose to have our wedding there on 5-15-15 and only heard more rave reviews from our guests about the romantic location. Each room at the B&B is unique and the entire house is stocked with cozy touches. The staff always...

We took a last minute detour to Traverse City during our road trip and I'm so glad we found this B&B. The Morrison Room was lovely and comfortable. Our hosts were friendly and we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with beautiful heirloom tomatoes from the garden - they even let us take a few home! The property is charming, and we...

The Country Hermitage was the perfect choice for a relaxing stay. We found it by accident--all other B&Bs and hotels in Traverse City were booked, so we opted for something further out. Turns out, we weren't disappointed! The B&B is set on 400 acres of walkable cherry orchards. We got up early one morning for a stroll through the orchard,...

We had a great stay at a great B & B. The Country Hermitage is located just outside of Traverse City. It is close to everything except the traffic. The home is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and very modern. The innkeepers are very helpful (gave us suggestions on places to go and places to eat). The breakfasts were delicious,...

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at Country Hermitage for our Traverse City-area vacation. The location is great, not far from downtown TC but it is also far enough to be away from some of the crowds and congestion. The property is beautiful, located on a cherry orchard and offers tons of places to relax (hammocks, deck chairs,...

Our stay at Country Hermitage was nothing short of perfect. You honestly get what you are expecting - there are no false advertising issues with this place. It's ideal! I had just finished taking the bar exam wednesday, and my boyfriend and I planned this weekend trip away so I could get back to "normal." It had everything I wanted...
