This hotel is very quaint with decor in the old lumberjack days; up north, cozy, warm, spacious, clean. ALERT -- they add a fee to your bill for the in-room safe along with tax on that fee. Whether you use it or not, and it's...More

The "elevator" was my least favorite thing. Not a regular elevator. A heavy door that opens, then you have to slide open the cage, get in and close the door, then slide the cage shut before it will operate. When you get out, you MUST slide the cage shut before you close the door or the elevator won't respond to the next person who needs it. It feels very claustrophobic... but... it's an elevator. This trip I was with my disabled mother so we had to use it. If not for that I would have used the stairs.
