We didn't stay at this location, but we did ski here and take advantage of two of the onsite bars. The ski runs are the longest I've skied outside of Colorado. The slopes are challenging, but fun. Staff were friendly. With the runs as long as they are, a high speed lift would be nice, so the ride up wouldn't...

Clean and comfortable. The room was what I needed : a place to sleep after snowboarding. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet and I slept good. The office lobby has a fireplace that burns real wood, there is something calming, peaceful and wonderful about watching a fire burn.

Absolutely love this resort!! Skied both here and Black Jack and both are phenomenal! Stayed at the hotel at Indian Head last year, and this year as well. Nice poole and hot tub. Happy to say they updated the beds and linens!!!! Great slopes with awesome snow. The lake effect can make for some epic powder conditions! I have skied...

My husband has come here to ski on New Year weekend for the past few years. For one reason or another I didn't go, till this year. He had warned me about the 'rustic' decor, and he was right! When you go in to a room in the lodge, you feel like you've walked in to the 50s. Our bathroom...

Another ski year has started in the Midwest. After many uears of living in the Colorado Mountains we have moved back to our childhood area. Skiing here is absolutely awesome. We have been skiing at Indianhead Mountain the last couple of days and comditions are excellent. Indianhead has done an amazing job with snowmaking supplemented by natural snow, grooming is...

Our family skied two days and found there was enough variety to keeps two teens interested. We didn't stay in the accommodations as they sounded dated and overpriced. The skiing was no bargain either. Be aware that buying online only allows one price, so if you have junior skiers you may want to call ahead to make sure you're really...

We stayed at the Saganaki cabin in February. We had 4 guys and we all thought it was great. Easy access to trails and plenty of room. Beautiful area for snowmobiling. Restaurant/bar was great and so was the food. Highly recommend!

Super friendly resort staff everywhere- front desk, shuttle, ski school, bar tenders, waitresses, lift ops, ski patrol, etc. This is not one of those luxury Colorado resorts. The food is not gourmet and tends toward the food service frozen variety. The local beer is great. The lodge and buildings are, in a word, rustic. You don't drive to Indianhead for...

The Lodge- not to be confused with the other slope-side places. The staff was friendly. The room was terrible. Think 1982 and the Shining! We left and headed to the American Inn (which was amazing!) It is close to the ski hill however, there isn't any food or bars-except those at Indianhead.

I don't know what year Indianhead built the accommodations, but it has a 70's feel. Nothing has changed since my last trip in 1988. They are still using grooming equipment from the 1960's and they really do need to improve that. The trailside condo we rented was smaller than the pictures, but was clean and adequate. The restaurants, bar, chairlifts,...
