We arrived to a smile and a warm welcome that feels totally genuine. Karen and her husband have a gentle touch approach to hoasting that leave's you well cared for but not overly fussed over. There rooms are clean, warm and we'll furnished. We had an early start to the day and was still offered the full breakfast menu with...

Our second one night stop, lovely large double room with all facilities including silent fridge with fresh milk and bottled water. Friendly owners, excellent breakfast. Had en-suite this time - last time was very short notice and we had downstairs non en-suite double, the bathroom was directly opposite and for sole use, so not a problem. Thank you Karen and...

We had the pleasure of stopping at the Shippon twice in a matter of days and can honestly say that we have never been made so welcome anywhere else. Our room was exceptionally nice and our hosts, Karen and Alan were so friendly. Breakfast was fantastic as was the whole experience. Will definitely be stopping again

Upon arrival you will be greeted by lovely hosts Karen and Alan - and the resident chocolate Labrador Arthur. Both upstairs bedrooms (one double, one twin - both with pull out sofa beds) are en-suite and the downstairs...

For our first visit to Lympstone, we chose The Shippon and were so glad we did. On our arrival, Karen greeted us and made us feel at home straight away and showed us to our very comfortable room. At present the courtyard outside is a bit of a builders yard, but this will soon clear when the adjacent house conversion...

“Choice is double and twin upstairs, both spacious with en-suite. Or you can save £10 with the downstairs non en-suite room, which is not so spacious but is still comfy with private bathroom right opposite. All are good.”
