The hotel is situated in Troy, about 60 km north east from the Detroit metropolitan airport. Just over the street, there is Macy’s supermarket and possibilities to eat. The staff was nice, there is a standard equipment in the room (coffee maker, TV). The room including bathroom were modern and very clean. Wifi connection was perfect.

I went here for my birthday and it couldn't of been more special. Our room was up high and had an amazing view. The hotel is beautiful and is next to in my opinion the best mall in America. The staff was so kind. I will be back next time I'm in the area.

Everything about this hotel is average, but then my shower never got hot water and one of the elevators stopped working. It does offer a large amount of conference rooms, but then we weren't provided a map. One elevator (out of two) was stuck for half an hour with people inside, then it did not work at all for the...

Stayed here for a business trip. Location is great with everything within 45-minutes drive. Room was very ordinary and appearance needs an update. Elevators are old and shake a lot. Scared me a few times with rumbling and shaking.

I've stayed here a few times for business and recently my company had their sales meeting here. I stayed here for 4 nights this trip. The restaurant does a great job serving delicious food with great service and reasonable to high price points. The rooms are okay but tired. The good news is that the hotel seems to be just...

Hotel needs some updating, which apparently begins in the middle of December. The room was serviceable and clean. Proximity to Somerset Mall is a big plus. Apparently there will be some room upgrades, which aren't necessary but will be helpful to make it the best choice in the area.

Thank you for your review. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and our proximity to the Somerset Collection. As mentioned, we are planning to update some of our sleeping rooms in the first quarter which is phase two of our renovation projects. Our public spaces and meeting rooms were done in phase one. Positive things are happening at the...

It's not really the quality of hotel I would expect based on the listing. The online pictures look good and the lobby is pretty but the rooms are small and lack some amenities like a closet and drawers that don't stick. We had to ask for more hangers for the cubby with no door that is used as a closet....

I taught and class in the conference center of this hotel. The hotel staff is very customer service focused, friendly and professional. The restaurant is very good - I had breakfast and dinner here. Not the usual hotel food. If you are coming from the Detroit airport take Uber or Lyft to the hotel. Much better than the car service...

It's a blah look hotel, nondescript rooms, even the grill room food awful, a rubber recycled hamburger, if your depressed and want to keep the mood going perfect place. The one thing going for it is the nearby shopping and mall

One big advantage to the Somerset Inn is location, it’s almost part of the Somerset Collection, an upscale “Mall”. The Inn has a very courteous staff and onsite restaurant. Our room was in the circular portion rather than the high rise and overlooked a beautiful large patio. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the pie shaped...

Thank you for your review. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and our proximity to the Somerset Collection. We are also pleased that you were happy with your room and the restaurant.
