This serene setting is a perfect place to unwind after the hustle and bustle of downtown Traverse City. The hosts go the extra mile to keep their new facility spotless and pleasant. Even with a significant storm and loss of power in the area, they provided evening tea and a hot breakfast. The immediate surroundings are impressive and lovely with...

Stayed for 2 nights as part of our circular tour of Lake Michigan. The place is beautiful in a lovely peaceful setting, but only 10 minutes by car to Traverse City (if that). We stayed in the Moose Room, which was the smallest of the 3 rooms, but was still very roomy all the same. The stay was fabulous and...

We booked this for a last minute one night getaway. What an absolute gem of a bed and breakfast! The place is relatively new and the rooms are large and well appointed. Everything was just spotlessly clean and tidy. It is so very close to Traverse City and it nice to get out of the town for a bit of...

My husband and I stayed for three nights in the Moose Room. It was perfect. The space is very roomy, super clean, and (best of all) incredibly quiet and peaceful. It is an easy drive to town. The breakfasts were very generous and delicious. I can't recommend it highly enough. A great experience.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. Beautiful area, gracious hosts, great location. I picked this place after researching many on the internet. We are so glad that we stayed here. We will definitely be back. The only negative is that the breakfast meals were so large. We felt guilty because we couldn't eat everything.

Book this place NOW!! Of all the B & B's we've been to, this tops them all! It is close to Traverse City but far enough away to really enjoy the beauty of the countryside. My sister-in-law and I stayed in the Bear Room and they were able to accomodate us with twin beds. The room, and the entire place...

Marion and Dietmar were wonderful hosts! We had a rehearsal dinner and had to check in early, they accommodated us and were helpful in recommending a quick place to grab a bite to eat. The property is beautiful - quiet, surrounded by lots of greenery and flowers. The breakfasts were SO filling! We ate at 9am and didn't eat again...

The rooms and accommodations are beautiful and very clean. Breakfast is phenomenal. Dietmar and Marian are the owners and host. Lovely people that were also very helpful with knowing where to go and what to do in Traverse City and on the Leelanau Peninsula. I highly recommend there B&B.

My fiancé and I stayed here for three nights this past weekend and had the very best time here. I received a welcome packet in the mail a few weeks ahead of time with very helpful instructions and introduction. The location is very close to downtown Traverse City and also located at the base of the Leelanau and Old Mission...

Wind in the Pines is a gorgeous bed and breakfast tucked away from the main streets of Traverse City surrounded by nature, but still close enough to the heart of the city to feel like you're really experiencing the town. The spot is also close to the 15mi bike path that leads you up the side of the peninsula. There...
