We were in Traverse City for the conclusion of the Cherry Festival. The B&B is walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the downtown area, including the Festival. The breakfasts were delicious. We stayed in the Hannah Suite on the 3rd floor. It was very quiet and private. We found the original "Chicago World's Fair shower" to be an interesting addition....

Delightful, well-located place to stay. Nice helpful people, and delicious breakfasts. They could use a new mattress, though. Strong recommend the Traverse City area - lots to see and do, and innkeepers gave great advice

If you're looking for a B&B in the Traverse City area, you'd be crazy not to stay here. The location is perfect, you can walk anywhere downtown. The rooms are stunning and historic. And the breakfast is delicious. Barb and Hank really outdid themselves when they took on the project of restoring the Wellington Inn. They know all the history...

If you love historic B & B's this place is for you. Lovingly restored by the homeowners, this old mansion is oozing with charm and character. We loved that we could walk to town and that there are many good restaurants nearby. The Little Fleet food trucks are just a few blocks away and make nice stop for a snack,...

The Wellington Inn is a most gracious place to stay. It is our 9th summer there, and we stay for weeks at a time. My very favorite thing to do is to sit on the lovely porch and read a book. - Ione Wiren - North Palm Beach, FL

We stayed at the Inn for 4 nights over the Labor Day weekend. Just a terrific place. A beautiful 100 year old home that has been meticulously refurbished. Our room (the Woosley Suite) was very large and had its own balcony. The location was great, walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and bars in downtown Traverse City. Made a...

Walking distance to town. Stayed 3 nights. Never been to northern Michigan. Great for day trips from here after a comfortable sleep and home cooked breakfast. If you're seeking the cozy, wine and cheese buffet afternoons this isn't it. It's more of a very comfortable, lovely and tasteful inn hat is more self service. Nice fully stocked guest kitchen (open...

This elegant home is beautifully restored and pleasure to stay in. Of particular enjoyment was the full pressure shower & faucets which beckon back to the original 1900 home. The home is an easy walk to downtown friendly Traverse City.

“The room ( Vortuba?) was nicely appointed and had a nice modern shower. The only complaint is the bed is super creaky- any movement of any kind. It reminded me of my grandmother's bed when I was a kid, so think it needs to be updated. ”
