We stayed here just two nights. The food was great and the owner went out of her way to accommodate dietary preferences. Nope, I don't eat cheese. The room was clean and comfortable as were the common areas. The home is located in a lovely neighborhood with many old homes and is a very short walk to town.

Beautiful restored mansion that was intriguing visually, historically, and personally. The hosts, Barb and Hank created a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and the breakfasts prepared and served were easily equivalent to any five star restaurant. The Traverse City area had plenty of opportunity for a wide variety of activities that Barb was happy to suggest or recommend.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom, one bath suite over the garage. It was very country french in decor. Very, very nice and extremely comfortable. Linens and towels were first class. We walked to all the restaurants, many to choose from, and all very good. Traverse City is lovely, beautiful scenery up the peninsula which is full of apple orchards,...

Spent a weekend with 2 other couples at the Wellington for a wine tasting adventure. QUIET! Three floors of beautifully period decorated multi roomed mansion with many back staircases. Lots of comfortable bedrooms to choose from with most having their own, private baths. Large front porch outside with chairs and inside comfortable seating areas. Great downtown location within blocks of...

We have stayed at the Wellington for a number of years with another couple we have known for more than 40 years. We always go at the end of September or beginning of October. We stay in one of the Carriage House units which have two bedrooms and a kitchen and living room. We love that we have our own...

Beautiful home, carefully and thoughtfully decorated, great breakfast (host made sure I had a plant based whole food offering), interesting guests and helpful hosts. The location of the house was close to the downtown area - easy walking to lots of restaurants, shops, etc. through a lovely neighborhood. Plan to return.

We really didn't know what to expect and when we arrived, we weren't disappointed. The Inn is beautifully decorated and we stayed in the Woolsey Suite. Our room was perfect in every way. You could not ask for a better Host and Hostess. They were 'down to earth' and charming. We would stay there again! (Hope to be back again...

We chose The Wellington based in part on the reviews we read, and we were not disappointed. The mansion that houses the facility is magnificent, and has been beautifully restored. The Wellington is located in a residential neighborhood of turn of the century homes, and is an easy walk to the restaurants and other attractions on Front Street. Our room...

Enjoyed a wonderful birthday weekend in Traverse City. Antiquities Wellington Inn was delightful. It is is a residential area just a couple of blocks from the main street. We parked our car when we arrived and never had to get into it until we drove to our next destination three days later. We were able to walk or ride our...

A great, thoughtful restoration of a wonderful neo classical treasure. Located in a period correct neighborhood. Easy walking distance to food, shopping and the beach. Rooms are quiet and well kept. Breakfast at 9 am may cramp your style if you are one who likes to get out early, but it is worth the wait. The entire experience was out...

“I loved our room, but I think it's the Woolsey Room that has a second floor balcony. The weather wasn't good enough for us to sit out, but if you are going in the good weather, I would go for that room first. It would be lovely to sit out there. They are all beautiful, though. Not a dud in the bunch.”

“The room ( Vortuba?) was nicely appointed and had a nice modern shower. The only complaint is the bed is super creaky- any movement of any kind. It reminded me of my grandmother's bed when I was a kid, so think it needs to be updated. ”
