We stayed for one night in one of their single queen rooms upstairs. It was very cute. The staff was friendly and our stay was very pleasant. Would definitely atay here again, next time we are up this way!

Very comfortable room, great little kitchenette/combo living room area with 2 separate bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and the room overall were very clean. I would suggest for the owners to clean the a/c filters, (didn't notice until the morning we were getting ready to leave). For those traveling keep in mind that the hotel sits east of Traverse City,...

Booked a room at Traverse Bay Inn for Labor Day Weekend because it was about all that was left...when we arrived we were in shock! Room was huge for the price w/a full kitchen and 2 seperate rooms with an upstairs and whirlpool. Highly suggest staying here. Great deal!!

Complete kitchenette, comfortable, back your vehicle to the door, restaurants and beach, and great views within walking or wheelchair distance. The proprietors were good to me; they are very busy but if you need them, just dial 0. Plenty of room in the room. I was alone and can't travel light.

Wanted an inexpensive place that took a dog for overnight while doing circle tour. Just my teenage son and large dog. Assumed we were stuck sharing a queen bed. Shocked to find a 2 bedroom suite, complete with an upstairs bedroom. Tip, don't close upper floor door. My son locked himself out. Didn't get a chance to use pool or...

You always wonder about what could be a road side motel with good reviews. When considering the price compared to other hotels in the area, this is a steal. We booked a queen room and ended up in the queen and two full (I think). Downstairs was the family room/kitchen with LCD tv (crappy upsizing issues on the TV). Kitchen...

Room was spacious and over all place was well kept. Plus the staff was super. We will be back for sure. Pool and Jacuzzi were great. Close to TC bike trail and of course plenty of things to do in the general area.

The staff at Traverse Bay Inn are very sweet and accommodating. The rooms are older but clean. It reminds me of a hotel my family would have stayed at in the 1980's. It is small and the rooms still use real keys for those who remember hotels doing that. With all of its charm I gave this little place an...

Was pleasantly surprised by the traverse bay inn. Very roomy. Small kitchen , bedroom with queen, kitchen/living area, bathroom down stairs and bedroom upstairs. Lots of closets. Nicely equipped and great pool and hot tub. We stay in traverse city 1-2 x's a year. Will be a my go to for the price! Room to park boat trailer on grass....

Stayed once in the winter & the staff was very friendly , room was clean & up dated for the area. Price was great for winter travel , but once summer comes rates jump up quite high , but that is to be expected for the area. Close to everything , great food & shopping
