What a jewel right in my beautiful Michigan backyard! My wife and I have stayed at the B&B for our last two anniversaries, and it gets harder to leave each time. The suites were recently remodeled and boast such regal decors that you immediately feel engulfed by romance and decadence. The rooms have breathtaking views of the bays, and one...

Great place to wine taste no matter the season, but late October is prime! Chateau Chantal sits on the middle of Mission Point and the views are fantastic, and the colors were beautiful despite the cold weather! They weren't too busy, and we enjoyed our first experience wine tasting here! Our server was very helpful!

Took our daughter her boy friend and his family to see the amazing views and of course try the great wines they have here. The views from this hilltop winery are simply beautiful, been here spring summer and fall and it's incredible. The staff is very engaging and knowledgeable, and the tasting samples are very interesting. It is a bed...

Arriving by car will take your breath away as you meander through the vineyards, arriving at this stunning building high on a hill with views in ever direction of vineyards. From the moment we entered we were greated by charming staff. The wine tasting was truly amazing, sampling 6 wines of your own choice for $5. Our hostess explained each...

Chateau Chantal is a B&B in the winery that is set on the ridge on Old Mission Peninsula so that you can take in the sunset looking west from your room or out on the patio. In the morning the breakfast area affords views east for sunrise. The staff is very friendly and greeted us on arrival and gave us...

We have driven by Chateau Chantal many times as we love to visit Mission Peninsula, but this was our first stay at their B&B. We will do this again as it was a wonderful experience. The room, which wasn't even their largest or most expensive, was fabulous. We had a nice 'sitting room' that was separate from the bedroom. The...

We have stayed at lots of motels/hotels over the years but knew that B&B’s offered a different experience so adjusted our expectations. If Chateau Chantal is typical of B&B’s the then pace seems more relaxed than motels. We arrived at the B&B two hours ahead of the 3 p.m. check-in time and the room was not ready as expected. We...

This is your third year visiting Traverse City, and every year we visit one of the wineries, do a tasting, and buy a bottle. This year we went to Chateau Chantal. We did the 6 wine tasting. They have a very wide range of wines available, so being able to taste 6 worked well. Wound up buying a bottle of...
