everything was perfect, staff super friendly and so helpful. The condos are amazing, the beds were so comfy and relaxing, felt like I was home. It is so beautiful at Crystal Mountain, the landscaping and fun things to do was awesome. Real cool water park and pool if you have children. I will be going back but for a family vacation

Very disappointed. The grounds and facilities were very nice. We stayed 4 days for a work conference. Upon check we were told if we need housekeep services, just to call and request. After the second day we make the request to be told, no housekeeping services would be provided during our stay. At that time (8 am) we requested fresh towels. Upon return the evening after dinner the towels still had not be exchanged. We tried calling the front desk multiple times over a couple of hours for with questions about locations on property, and only could reach a voicemail without a return call. The rooms are spacious, but the beds are in need of new mattresses. Our mattress had a significant dip. We ate at the Thistle twice. Both time the food was very good, but took over 90 minutes to get our sandwiches. The server was very nice, but both experiences were painfully long. The conference facilities were very nice and comfortable. The food provided for the meeting were also very good.

Stayed at Inn at the Mountain. Very nice hotel. The whole resort was beautiful and staff was friendly and helpful. Pool looked like it was a blast for kids. We went on the Alpine slide. The view was fantastic! The slide not as much fun as I had anticipated, but still a adventure. I recommend this place in the summer, not too far to many other fun places.

This is I believe was our 8th beer and brat festival and by far the smallest as far as how many breweries were there (like 1/2 as many as before). Maybe they were keeping it small because of Covid still looming? This is the first year we did not buy VIP tickets because they keep increasing the cost. We'll go back just because its a nice kick off to summer but raising prices and having fewer breweries was a disappointment.

Just came back from a family Ski trip to Crystal Mountain. This resort has a lot going for it including a very helpful and friendly staff. I did have one issue that threatened to ruin my ski trip. Two magic carpets are advertised as fully operational, but due to staffing shortages the smaller one wasn't operational except during ski school (hours vary and that wasn't listed on the site). I have 3 small children who were just learning to ski and they weren't ready for the bigger hill. Try explaining to small child that the incline is the same... However when I brought up my issue to the staff (shout outs to Kyle, Amanda, and Jessica Kelly) they were very helpful and understanding. I really appreciated the extra mile they went to listening to me, because I was really quite upset. In short they turned my experience around and I left wanting to come back to Crystal mountain. Additionally we had a great ski lesson with Andy, and the restaurants were very good. The only downside outside of the magic carpet issue were the beds (super uncomfortable). We had a mountaintop townhouse with 3 bedrooms and all the beds were horrible. But all in all the friendly staff and made up for the beds, and I think I will be back.

We visited here the weekend of March 11,2022. We took this trip as a mini getaway and to relax there were several reviews that said this place was amazing and we saw the spa was one of the top spas. As a couple we travel often and have been to other ski resorts. Upon checking in after driving 4 hour hours and getting to the resort at 4pm our room was not ready, the lady at the desk offered very poor customer service. We were hoping to be settled into the room before our spa appointments and that did not happen. The spa was very nice, massage therapists very good, even had some of the best massage tables however we were some of the last appointments so we were rushed out by the rest of the staff. We had also called previously to book and asked about other services to be told they didn’t have them and then realizing they did after we were there. For dinner that night we ended up with a bone in the sausage. Then there’s the beds, horrible horrible mattresses, we should have waited until the last day for massages because after sleeping on such horrible beds the long ride home was painful. And you also have the noise, if you stay in a hotel room be prepared to hear stomping at all hours. The breakfast buffet was ok but not really living up to the cost. Big plus is all restaurants carry gluten free options. If you are wanting private time for the hot tub be prepared to call way in advance. We are used to resorts where you call tell them what you are looking to do and they make reservations for it all and have your trip perfect, this is not that place, you must make several calls and attempts to book everything you would like to do on your own. Needless to say if we want to come back to this area we will stay in a neighboring city and just book golfing or skiing.

Crystal Mountain is one of the best ski resorts in Lower Michigan. It’s great for anyone still learning to ski, and experts alike. There is a abundance of easy and intermediate runs, so it’s great for families. One ride up the high speed lift awards you with a good portion of the runs in the park. The trails are well manicured and very well marked. The lifts are very efficient, so even though it was relatively busy when we went, we never waited more then five minutes for a lift. We stayed in the hamlet. It’s literally like ten steps from the hamlet ski lockers to the high speed lift, which is extremely convenient. The room was clean and spacious, and we loved the abundance of hooks for hanging winter gear. The only downside to hamlet is that the parking lot is on the small side, and we had to park pretty far from the actual hotel. We booked three nights in the hotel and four days of lift tickets. Unfortunately, on the second day, one of the people in our party hurt his knee, and we needed to leave. Once ski patrol verified that his injury was legitimate, we revived a full refund for our remaining two nights and two days of lift tickets, which was definitely unexpected. All in all, Crystal Mountain was great.

Being an individual that has been to 100’s of ski resorts I was very disappointed with Crystal Mountain. They advertise 60+ runs, umm you can’t give a name two sides of the same hill. There are far fewer runs then expected. The back side of the mountain is not easy to get to, and hopefully you don’t get hurt back there as the ski patrol is way in the far corner of resort. Customer service is lacking or non existent. If you want a wide variety of terrain in a safe environment with good food and customer service, you can find it, just not here.

I remember back when this resort used to care about its customers. Those days changed a long time ago. They used to be highly ranked family resort with a quality patrol. Now, ski at your own risk. Be prepared for lousy customer service from a company trying to squeeze every penny. Don’t bother wasting time with customer service, you will get no respect or results.
