We have a group of about 15 men who annually go to Benzonia, MI for salmon fishing. We aren't looking for a place with frills, but want a clean, no nonsense, friendly place to stay for the week. When our old go-to in Elberta was sold, we thought we'd try MVM. We have regretted our choice since. At first, we...

We have family in Frankfort and Thompsonville, so this is perfect. Family owned motel, no frills, but fills the bill. Clean (enough), priced right, safe, and great location for us. Have stayed here numerous times over the past several years with young kids and now big kids. They love the game room!!

I rated this as excellent because for $55 to $65 a night, it is. I stayed there last September for 3 nights with a group of golfers and for a place to take a shower and sleep it was clean and well maintained. I'll be returning there later this week (again in September with the same group) and was informed...

We are glad to provide a review for a one night stay this weekend at Mountain Valley Motel. The room was clean and remodeled with fresh pain, bedding, and carpet. The A/c unit was loud but that is unavoidable. We only needed the room for sleeping purposes and for the price- you cannot reasonably except anything more. We would recommend...

At first glance I thought ok, this isn't so bad... It's a cheap room 1990's tv but it does have direct tv, ugly picture on wall decorated from the 80's, no head board stand up shower. Weird signs posted on walls regarding towels. I decided to check the bed and sheets before anything. Mattress looked ok cheap but newer. Turned...

The beds were very hard. Pillows were pancakes. Only 2 pillows in the room. We were unsure if the sheets were clean or not we just didn't get that clean sheet vibe. Pillow cases were clean. Staff was friendly. Small tv and refrigerator as promised. My advice bring your favorite pillow from home and a sleeping bag if you are...

WARNING!!!!! When we made arrangements for our family to stay in a block of rooms the owner of this motel ripped us off for $500.00. The motel itself is an absolute RAT HOLE. Its cheap but disgusting. Would not recommend anyone ever stay here!!!!!!!
