From check in to check out we had an awesome stay.
Location was perfect … having the store nearby was also a plus.
We did have a problem with the TV in our room but was fixed immediately.

We loved the Inn. We stayed in the HarbourView 3bdrm suite which is wonderful for family gatherings. We loved the privacy, firepit, dedicated parking, grills for cookouts etc. The bar/restaurant and nearby market was a gamechanger for convenient food options. For a unit of this size, however, the living room TV should be larger and it should definitely be equipped with its own in suite washer/dryer instead of downstairs where everyone launders. It makes staying longer than 3 nights cumbersome as doing laundry is time consuming. Secondly, we wished the pool was heated. It's the warmest time of the year and it was always cold. Since the beach water was also very cold, swimming could have been improved. Finally, the tiniest waves prevented us from kayaking because they refused to let us use the equipment unless there were zero waves. A couple of bummers but overall the property is impeccably maintained, absolutely stunning and very quiet. A true getaway.

We stayed at the inn for only one night, but were sorry it was not three or four. The atmosphere is fabulous, there's so much to do, and the customer service is outstanding. We enjoyed the grounds, the pool, and the beach, we used SUPs and kayaks, and even rented a sailboat for a VERY reasonable price.

I was with reveiwer SuzanneSally last weekend and had a fantastic time at Herrington Harbour. Beautiful grounds, strategically planned & landscaped so you feel like you're far away from everything. There were two weddings happening during our visit, but we were not disturbed by all the wedding activities (except to see some gleeful bridesmaids running around getting ready). The beach was clean with plenty of comfortable seating, perfect for watching all the boats go by, and in and out of the marina. We saw plenty of birdlife at all times of day. The pool was fairly large with both poolside and lawn seating, in the shade and in the sun. Ketch 22 next door will bring you food and drinks to order.
From Herrington Harbour, its a short, scenic drive to the twin beaches towns. We especially enjoyed the gallery/shop, Artworks @ 7th, 8905 Chesapeake Ave. It's run by the artists, so you'll likely have a chance to talk to one of the very talented artists/artisans during your visit. There's a variety of styles for everyone to enjoy. The prices for this original art are very reasonable.
Regarding weddings. You know most people dread having to go a long way to a wedding, but I promise if you plan your wedding here, people would love to stay the weekend in the beautiful, euro-inspired rooms, and enjoy the grounds and amenities. Again, the weddings were kept separate from the regular guest area, so you won't have to worry about the non-wedding guests wandering through your perfect day. The tents, which we could see tucked behind the lovely landscaping overlooking the water, were clean/new and very large. I'm sure Ketch 22 would do a superb job catering.

We love this property! My wife and I got married here in 2017 and have been back each year since. Room rates are a great value if you include all the amenities that are included in the price. Pool access, beach access and all kinds of water activities. And not to mention a great restaurant right next door. Already looking forward to our stay next summer!!!

Rented 2 rooms, each with 2 queen beds. At time of reservation I expected to have to switch one of the rooms during the stay, but the very friendly staff found a way to allow us to occupy both rooms without moving. The rooms were clean and amenities are all in good condition. The grounds and restaurant used to have a Caribbean flair, but they've moved away from that and toward a typical marina resort ambiance. The grounds are lovely, the private beach is as good as it gets on the bay, and the complementary kayaks and paddle boards are alot of fun. We try to come here for a few days each summer and enjoy it each time!

I came to The Inn at Herrington Harbour to relax in their private hot tub spa ... one of my favorite winter indulgences. Accommodations were modest, but clean and welcoming. Amenities included a microwave oven and refrigerator which I find very helpful if you are spending a lot of time in your room. The outdoor areas around the inn are always beautifully maintained and inviting a casual stroll. The staff was particularly friendly and accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I am already planning my return visit.

+1
This is my fourth stay at The Inn and words can't express the serenity I feel as soon as I arrive on the property. Each suite is uniquely designed with thoughtful touches and authentic antiques from the owner's collection. While there's plenty to do in the general vicinity, the marina has all the amenities I need for a long weekend getaway. In the summer, the private beach and pool are steps away. The eco-trail is a lovely scenic walk to start the day. I especially enjoy watching the sun rise over the Bay from my waterfront room. This visit, I was really impressed with the seasonal fare at the marina restaurant, Ketch 22.
Kudos to Taylor, the general manager, for the warm welcome!

I came to the Inn 2 years ago and wished I came last year. I planned this trip at the last minute on July 14th on my computer at work. We stayed from the July15th to 16th. The front desk people were so comforting and extremely very nice. After we got our key, we went to the beautiful pool. The water felt like bath water and very relaxing. After swimming, I relaxed and had some beverages and just enjoyed the beautiful view and atmosphere. I woke up Friday morning and I was able to get a kayak and enjoyed the peacefulness of the bay and the calm water. I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be coming back next year and years to come. Thank you again everyone at the Inn at Herrington Harbour.

The Inn at Herrington Harbour
Cottages….
1. Pictures on the website were misleading and not representative of all the types of rooms they have. They cottages are not as nice.
2. There was a bad smell in the drawers.
3. Bugs in the shower.
4. Really really noisy air conditioners. We couldn’t fall a sleep at all, but turning them off was way too hot.
5. Could guests that stopped by noticed how sticky the dinning room table was.
6. Hotel did not honor previous arrangements made so the bride could get into the hotel room as requested.
7. Evening was too noise due to other wedding parties going to 3am.
8. We forgot couple items in the room, call them next morning and they throw them away. Would have appreciated a call.
The venue was amazing but the hotel left us with little to be excited about.

Our beach is always open, we have lounge chairs out, weather depended, we may have other beach amenities available as well, such as corn hole, kayaks, and paddleboards. In addition, we also have an eco-trail that wraps around our marina. Pop in the main Inn office before you head out and have the kids pick up eco-trail bingo, which can be played along the way. Once you're done, stop back by the office and have them collect their prize if they hit bingo! Our main restaurant is currently undergoing renovations and might not be open in time for Mother's Day, however, we have several restaurants within a 5 mile radius that will have Mother's Day specials.
Hope this information helps. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
