My family got two rooms and they were small but clean as a pin. This is a great value and located between several fun activities in the U.P. We slept well on nice mattresses. The staff was very helpful. It couldn't have been better.

Not to far to drive to from mid MI. Always friendly when we visit and central location for activities around Upper Peninsula, like Pictured Rocks and Lake Superior shoreline . Grocery stores are close by and so are shops for tourist things.

We really like this place.. room is very clean & nice & warm.. owner is very nice.. we will definitely come back next year ! 🙂 We have never been to this area of the UP.. and I love the Moose & Bear theme quilt on the bed.. hoping to see real Moose & Bear! ♥️

Very nice friendly place at a great rate. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable we want one for home. We were in the outside room by the intersection so our ear plugs came in handy. One piece of advice. Bring coat hangers. The room had several hooks but no drawers to put your clothes in

This was close to Seney NWR so very convenient. Not much in the way of restaurants in the area but we did eat and Andy's Bar which is a short distance away and it was very good. Only complaint would be the pillows were too soft but otherwise definitely will stay again when in the area.

Excellent clean comfy motel. Small but for the price an excellent stay. Would definitely recommend. 35 min from munising. We had our dog and was only charged $15 for a pet. We just spent one night. Liked the small town feel.

First time visitor to the seney area & booked a room at this venue. The experience was first class & had the most peaceful night. The decor was so pleasant, beds were comfy, lots of hot water for a relaxing bath & a quiet & cozy evening. Had coffee in the morning, a large screen t.v. with lots of options, frig. & microwave & toiletries. Very clean & well thought out- with placement of items so as to not waste space. Will return if in the area! Very fairly priced & owners are friendly & accommodating. Great first stop of my trip!

Great little place at an affordable price!! Friendly and Clean!! Glad we turned around while driving by!! Only 35 minutes to Munising and it a much more budget friendly price. Would diffently stay here again.
Also Andy's bar is across the street and has great food.

We stayed there long before December 2009 (It was more like the late 1980's early 1990's) but that's the earliest date available on this review. We stopped in Seney on our way through to Manitoba from Southern Ontario because the town has the same name as our surname. Our kids thought it was a riot seeing their last name everywhere. The motel is quite pleasant and a great value for a travelling family on a budget. My wife and I stayed there in the early 80's before our children were born and enjoyed the facility. Rev.
