My husband and I have been to Saugatuck many many times. In fact, it's a yearly trip. This was a surprise for me, after losing our precious dog of 15 1/2 years, the day after Christmas and knowing the difficult time I was (still am) having, my husband took me away for New Year's Eve. Our room was wonderful and...

We stayed in the Ivy Inn -- which was right in the middle of Saugatuck - very near the Kalamazoo River. The gentleman smoked quite a bit -- outside, but it was often. It was in a good location, but the stairs were difficult for me. I wasn't able to eat a lot of the breakfast, but the hosts were...

Unable to figure out how to select a good place to stay for a first visit, we rolled into Saugatuck hoping for the best. We spotted a "Vacancy" sign outside the Ivy Inn, tucked amid a collection of galleries & shops. Ended up staying not one night but two because it was so quiet and lovely. The owner was a...

We spent a lovely 2 days celebrating my husband's birthday in the Saugatuck area. The Ivy Inn more than filled the bill for a great place to stay. The location is perfect--easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town and directly across the street from the water. Our room was the largest--#5, the Quilt Room--and had a...

We had never been to Saugatuck before, and decided to try 2nights. Ivy Inn location excellent, right in the heart of the town 1/2 block from the dock. Room 1 was large, very well appointed. Breakfast was very good. Staff very helpful on selection of resturants and activities. We were midweek after Oct. 1 and they offered a discount so...

Saugatuck is a beautiful spot on Lake Michigan and The Ivy Inn is a delightful B&B in Saugatuck, run by the nicest people you could hope to meet. I left with the happiest of memories and would not hesitate to return and I would not hesitate in recommending The Ivy Inn.

My wife and I discovered this hidden gem by chance since we parked across the street when we arrived in Saugatuck. It was right next door to the first gift shop we went to. This was the first B&B that we ever stayed at so didn't know what to expect. We were fortunate to have our pick of 5 out...

Everyone at Ivy Inn was so very accommodating and friendly. Barbara was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are very clean, the food is outstanding, and location is perfect. If you happen to stay there when they make the peach cobbler make sure you don't miss it. My husband and I found the Ivy Inn completely by random chance, and we felt...

This is a very lovey place very cozy and inviting... A very friendly community. They service was excellent and this is right on Lake Michigan. A great place to visit in the summers and most places are within walking distance so driving not needed. Lots of great places to eat and drink near by.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ivy Inn. Our room was very small, but was air conditioned, quiet, and clean. Everyone I interacted with was genuine and accommodating - graciously allowing us a late checkin. We were pleased with the homemade French toast, boiled eggs, and coffee for breakfast. The Ivy Inn is an excellent choice for the price...

“Not Room #4 - small and noisy from outside”
MomLois, 6 Sep 2016 | Read review
“#1 and #2 are very small rooms, but they do share a very nice balcony. #3 (our room) was very nice - larger than #1 or #2. Other rooms also looked nice. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner (none supplied).”
kabacjl, 3 Oct 2012 | Read review
“During the busy season you probably would not want the front bedroom right off of the street. The two back rooms, although small, have a nice little patio looking over a park.”
Pamela064, 1 Oct 2012 | Read review
“Rooms vary in size and amenities as in any home. I think we had the smallest - ask for one with balcony.”
