My family and friends spent the last weekend on September at Vitek's. The staff was very friendly and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. We stayed in one of the cabins. There is a small tv with cable in each room, we had a roll away waiting for our son, and our bed and his were comfortable....

Vitek's motel looks like the motels in my childhood used to look... one-story, you pull your car up directly in front of your room, simple, but more than adequate. The proprietress was great - warm and welcoming. The room was very simple but clean and the beds were comfortable. We turned the heat on in our room for the first...

This motel is plenty fine for an overnight stay. Very clean and quiet, great older lady at the desk. Beds were fine, shower was awesome with lots of water pressure. Towels are a bit thin and skimpy. We'll stay again - can't go wrong for the price.

We love staying here at Vitek's cabins! The owners are so sweet and accommodating! We visit at least once a year for a few nights in the cabins.Yes, the cabins are old and tiny, but we LOVE them! Just a cozy place to stay across the bay. Love the owners and their little piece of heaven.

We made the annual trip through St. Ignace, landing at the airport in 4 small aircraft, drove into town and stayed at the Vitek Motel...for the 4th consecutive year. The rooms are clean, the prices are very, very reasonable and the hostess is a very nice person. We wanted a clean room, a comfortable bed and cool air...all of which...

Very outdated but very clean. We got two rooms for less than the cost of one at a chain hotels across the street. The owner was very nice when we checked in. I was able to walk across the street and go behind the Holiday Inn to watch the sunrise on the beach in the morning. Good location. There are...

We all enjoyed our stay (3) nights. Peaceful, plenty of room. Highly recommended. Pleasant owners. Decent walking distance to downtown. Restaurants also within walking distance. We brought our own coffee pot, that was okay, we like using the "pods".

Just left today, avoiding the crush of Labor Day crowds. As always, Vitek's delivers a relaxing, peaceful stay. They've now added WiFi, but it's new, and they're trying to make it better. (They're under the thumb of the cable monopoly in the area, so it's a fight for them to get anything done) Vintage cabins, always great, and a touch...

Any time we visit the U.P. in the past we always managed to reach the Soo area before needing to seek rooms for the evening. We opted to stay in St Ignace this trip and as we looked at various Marquees we spotted Viteks sign. Although there was no air conditioning the owner provided us with two fans. They cooled...

This was exactly what my friend and I needed for a night! It was a two room cabin with a shared bathroom. We enjoyed the cabin décor and simplicity. It wasn't fancy but it was perfect for a night's stay!

“The quietest rooms will be either a cabin or the rooms on the north end. However, I've stayed in Room #1 at least 4 times, the noise didn't bother me. It's a small town, and as it gets later, the traffic starts to vanish.”
