I have only been up north a couple of times now, and this place is so comfy! I love nature and the rooms made me feel like I was camping. The decorations are very cool and unique and the beds are so cozy. The owners are very friendly ( which from the Lower Peninsula, you aren't used to friendly business...

Came to stay after reading reviews and I am highly suspicious of who really wrote those. Rooms are horrible, smell bad and for the price go stay at the beautiful hotels on the water with views, pools and cleanliness. I was "assured" the rooms were clean and as a small resort owner I was really surprised at what they consider...

We stayed two nights in the Bear Cove Inn in the Waterfall room. It's clear that a lot of care has gone into the decor of each room: I think every single leaf was hand-glued onto the beech trees. It is quite over-the-top. Really, we booked here because of the photos from the website, and they didn't do it justice....

We now always stay at the Bear Cove Inn when in St. Ignace. The rooms are all unique and fun, and we recommend this marvelous b & b for everyone looking for a great experience. The only time we go to a casino is with our free tokens, and usually end up with a couple of dollars in out pockets!

I have been a returning guest at the Bear Cove for four years now. Initially we stayed in the tree fort room, which was even cooler than the pictures lead me to believe, also have stayed in the King room, Las Vegas room, and the Up North Room. Everytime our stay at the Bear Cove has been memorable, the rooms...

Bear Cove Inn is ideally located for travel between peninsulas. We booked solely because the rooms looked too ridiculous to be true, and we weren't disappointed. Really enjoyed the kitschy decor, and while breakfast isn't much to write home about, the room is comfortable, clean, and worth photographing.

We stayed at Bear Cove Inn on our girl's trip to Mackinac Island and very much enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Bear Room and it was so cute and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. If you really want to support the locals, this is the place to stay! The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They have...

The themed rooms are really cute, and this place is run by a very nice local family who really seems to care about their business and the community. However, our room smelled musty. We had to sleep with the windows wide open for my husband to not gag all night long. Breakfast in the morning was just donuts, bread for...

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. If you would of told us of ANY problem with the room, we could of offered you another. There was never any mention of any issues with the room, during your stay or at check-out. We also have had no complaints from ANY other guests. Before your arrival, I...

We went to the casino to get a room and it was sold out. We found the Bear Cove Inn, and were we glad! Way better rate, way friendlier staff! The rooms were so cute and unique. We had a great time. The owners were so nice and helpful. And the shuttle took us to and from the casino the...

Not much I can add to the previous reviews except a hearty DITTO! Bob and Elaine were fantastic. After a day, my wife and I felt we knew them forever. Great place, great owners, cannot recommend highly enough.
