This place is an absolute dump. Would never stay here again. Dirty. Ripped upholstery. Cabinets falling apart. Pull out couch mattress filthy and would not unfold. Completely terrible hotel. Would never stay here again.
The clerk that checked us in charged my credit card twice and didn't know how to fix it. The manager who was on duty in the morning was very apologetic and promised to fix it. It took five days, but the amount overcharged was finally returned. Our room was clean. The hotel is not serving their full breakfast due to current state regulations. In the morning they offer pre-bagged breakfast consisting of a muffin, an apple, and a bottle of water.
This place is gross. Has totally gone to hell. Filthy carpet. Unclean rooms. Unclean stairways. Unclean laundry room. Really gross. Smelly. Falling apart. Bathroom smells like mildew. Terrible experience staying here. Do not recommend this place. Marriott needs to come in and gut the place and hire new manager. (I think the same guy manages all 3 Marriotts that are lined up in a row on this road). Staff were not wearing masks inside building. Didn't feel safe, especially in Covid-19 times. Left a tip daily for housekeeping and asked them to vacuum, clean mirror, and other clear cleaning requests but it was unsatisfactory.
Comfortable bed, helpful staff close to shopping/dining. Nice to have larger fridge, breakfast ends early with not a lot of options. In room television is in an odd location would be better mounted to the wall, larger screen would be nice also. Charging ports for phones etc would be an added benefit.
Hotel wasnt bad. Continental breakfast had a decent selection. The meat and eggs though unfortunately were a little dried out. Pool is average size, when we went swimming there were no towels at the pool had to go to front desk to get some. Very spacious bathroom in our hotel room. Rooms are equipped with kitchens which is nice to have in order to save money on eating out. Unfortunately for this particular hotel in its location I had to give lower stars since I stayed at a different townsplace suites prior and they had a nice facility for almost half the price.
Room was much bigger than expected. Two bedroom with kitchen. Hotel has small indoor pool. Breakfast in AM is typical hotel quick bite...an egg dish in a heated platter, a meat, yogurt, breads, and coffee. Fine for a quick bite before work. Lots of chain restaurants near by and next to two other Marriott properties. Could hear the people above stomping around in morning. Quiet other than that.
I stayed here for a week in January first week.the room is spacious and with all amenities like fridge oven cooking range and dish washer.the front office and room service are very friendly and comfortable.shops are nearby like Wal-Mart and target.even without a car we managed to go there.one suggestion is that the complementary breakfast is the one and same every day.some changes will bring a difference.
This was our first time staying in the area and of course at this hotel. Let me tell you, it was a 10+ all the way around. The rooms were excellent, clean and comfy. There isn't anything I would change about it! The hotel in general was very clean and the staff were so friendly! The breakfast had the perfect amount of offerings and excellent coffee! We will be back again for sure!
We were in town for a funeral and being a Marriott loyalty member we booked a room at the TownePlace Suites. Upon arrival the front desk could not use my credit card so I gave them another one and that didn't work either even though I had used it 30 minutes earlier at another business and used it again later the same night. Obviously a problem on Marriott's end. It is a Marriott Rewards card. The desk clerk was friendly and apologized for the inconvenience. We had a room on the 3rd floor where the people staying next to us were loud until 11:00. May have been some alcohol involved-not sure. We kept hoping they would get quiet so we could get some sleep and I figured if it went on past 11, I would call the desk. It stopped and we eventually got some sleep. Breakfast is lesser that what is usually available at the Residence Inn or the Fairfield which are both next to the TownPlace. Needs a better variety of hot food. If I am in this area again aI will stay at the Residence. Upon checkout the clerk apologized for the noise and said the manager will give us some points for our inconvenience. We will see what happens. The employees at this location are very friendly and that is a plus.…
My husband tried to book a hotel in Frankenmuth for our anniversary but they were all booked and by chance he booked this hotel which was about 15 easy minutes to Frankenmuth for a much more reasonable rate. The suite was clean and everything that we needed and more. Staff was friendly and big selections to choose for breakfast.
