When it comes to hotel stays we are usually have reservations about trying someplace new. The Townplace Suites were everything, and more when it comes to providing a traveler's needs. From the warm welcome from Vickie, the manager, to the young lady, Priscilla, who makes sure breakfast is fully stocked, our stay was the absolute best.
The rooms were clean, and we'll appointed, the indoor pool was a nice respite from the winter weather, and the lobby area was a comfortable place for us to visit with our guests whom we were in Saginaw to see.

I also would like to give a shout out to all the staff who were always smiling, but especially Marissa and Caleb, who gladly take care of our every request.

Thank you, we highly recommend, and will stay here again.
FIVE + STARS!!

Room was much bigger than expected. Two bedroom with kitchen. Hotel has small indoor pool. Breakfast in AM is typical hotel quick bite...an egg dish in a heated platter, a meat, yogurt, breads, and coffee. Fine for a quick bite before work. Lots of chain restaurants near by and next to two other Marriott properties. Could hear the people above stomping around in morning. Quiet other than that.

Hotel wasnt bad. Continental breakfast had a decent selection. The meat and eggs though unfortunately were a little dried out. Pool is average size, when we went swimming there were no towels at the pool had to go to front desk to get some. Very spacious bathroom in our hotel room. Rooms are equipped with kitchens which is nice to have in order to save money on eating out. Unfortunately for this particular hotel in its location I had to give lower stars since I stayed at a different townsplace suites prior and they had a nice facility for almost half the price.

This place is gross. Has totally gone to hell. Filthy carpet. Unclean rooms. Unclean stairways. Unclean laundry room. Really gross. Smelly. Falling apart. Bathroom smells like mildew. Terrible experience staying here. Do not recommend this place. Marriott needs to come in and gut the place and hire new manager. (I think the same guy manages all 3 Marriotts that are lined up in a row on this road). Staff were not wearing masks inside building. Didn't feel safe, especially in Covid-19 times. Left a tip daily for housekeeping and asked them to vacuum, clean mirror, and other clear cleaning requests but it was unsatisfactory.

Very clean and modern. Convenient location near the highway, lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. Nice variety for breakfast. Free wifi. Nice kitchen area. Would stay here again.

I was supposed to stay here this week- I ended up checking out after one night.

I arrived in the room late last night after a major delay in getting here and found a pile of dirt behind the bathroom in front of the toilet which is extremely disgusting to look at when using the toilet.

Also- the remote that was next to the TV looked like it was lovely dog toy and had some glitter on it. The black duct tape is a very classy substitute to the actual battery cover.

I did wake up this morning with severely red eyes which also concerns me about the cleanliness of the room. This disappoints me greatly as a Marriott Gold Elite member. Contacted Marriott directly as well as emailed the manager...still haven’t heard from the manager at all.

The check in process was easy, got up to the room, it smelt very musky, closed in, room had not been opened in some time or, maybe cleaned? I travel with air spray, thankfully and had to spray the rooms, immediately. Two bedroom room, was that of a one star hotel, chair and couch were stained, old stains and furniture had a lot of sag in cushions.. i did find the bedding for the pull out bras and put the sheet over the couch, before I would sit on it..so dirty.. in regards to the beds, there were not the triple sheeting. I stripped the old looking bedspread off, right away.. The noise is the early morning from housekeeping was extremely loud. Check out is at noon, which is an hour longer then average hotel chains, however, time had slipped by and we were running a little late, called downstairs, requesting an extra 45 minutes to possibly an hour, one would had thought I had asked for the keys to the vault, No No, I can give you 15 minutes. Really....?... we rushed, got out at exactly 12:12pm.. when I asked front desk employee, forgot her name.. she explained that room took longer to clean? Not that the room was reserved for that evening. My take is, we as customers didn't matter.. just go.... would not recommend this place, if you like a clean hotel...

Happy to have a one bedroom suite witb oven. Baking fun. Clay helped us pack and. Terry folded and dried wet clothes left. Behind . Amazing hot breakfast. Has indoor pool.
Staff helped with handicapped issues. Clay. Suggest they have handicapped bRs in rooms with big kitchen as we had to compromise.

This hotel is a very solid choice for regular type business travel. It is clean, great staff and located near chain type restaurants. Area appears safe and is located not too far from the interstate. Easy access. Rooms are average size but do contain a small kitchen. Bathrooms are functional. I would stay here again on my next business trip.

Motel-like treatment, sink is not draining, very disgusting!
Breakfast selection is superbly poor (!).
Beds are sagging even though this establishment is very new, like not even 6 months old.
Do absolutely ANYTHING to avoid this "hotel" as even motels would have a higher rated accommodation! We woke up 6 times during the night, the beds are so very uncomfortable!
The fan grill on the ceiling of the bedroom is soooo very dirty, I thought I was in a sty!

We were going to stay for two days, but after the first night we couldn't even think of staying another minute there, let alone another night!
Will tell everyone NOT to stay there.

One of our rooms had 2 queen beds full kitchen, a large kitchen table, chair,& ottoman, no sofa. Unless your booking a 2 bedroom suite, that has a living room. The rooms are extremely roomy & comfortable. Besides the snacks for sale, they keep fresh fruit out 24/7. Meijer is in the next parking lot. We went shopping & brought food since you have the comforts of home. You won't be disappointed!!

I stayed with a small dog and they were very specific on where she could be and in which room. You pay extra with a pet....$100 per stay. This covers an outside cleaner who does a thorough cleaning when you leave. I have stayed in other hotels and you know as soon as you enter that pets have stayed there by the smell in the lobby. Not here! Rooms are extremely clean.
